Advanced degree in engineering, or related curriculum preferred. 10 years in the specific technical discipline or 15 years broad engineering experience in several technical disciplines, or 8 years in the specific technical discipline with Masters degree, or 6 years in the specific technical discipline with PhD. <p></p><p></p><b>Position Purpose</b>:<p></p>Guide the successful completion of major manufacturing programs, or conceive research in areas of considerable scope and complexity supporting the development and production of Gulfstream products and services.</div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Description</b></H2> </div><div><p></p><p></p>Principle Duties and Responsibilities:<p></p>Essential Functions: <ol><li> For manufacturing process to which individual is assigned: provide and maintain detailed work instructions, drive quality improvements, efficiency improvements, material presentation enhancements, manage the daily work plan, provide metrics for quality and schedule performance, and coordinate engineering and tooling changes as required. to meet Operations goals.</li><p></p><li> Select appropriate methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to resolve complex manufacturing and engineering issues aimed at process development and improvement in the manufacturing areas.</li><p></p><li> Is consulted extensively by associates and others as a recognized authority on application of manufacturing and engineering principles in the manufacturing area.
