You will coordinate evaluation of required modifications needed to support uprate power levels (i.e. replacement of important components such as pumps, motors, heat exchangers). A working knowledge of the thermal cycle at a power plant is required. Previous experience on uprate or similar large-scale projects. You will report to the Manager of Projects. This is a remote position and may require being onsite at plants during projects. Manage teams of engineers to prioritize and evaluate technical challenges and design solutions to issues.</li> <li style="margin:1.8pt 0.0in 1.8pt 0.0px;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;text-indent:8.0px">Cultivate relationships with team members, customers, and other partners (e.g., internal management) in a matrix environment to facilitate successful project completion and identify opportunities for additional business growth.</li> <li style="margin:1.8pt 0.0in 1.8pt 0.0px;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;text-indent:8.0px">You will implement mitigating actions for risks throughout entire project lifecycle and look for cost-sharing opportunities with clients.</li> <li style="margin:1.8pt 0.0in 1.8pt 0.0px;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;text-indent:8.0px">Present monthly project review meetings with Westinghouse executive management.</li> <li style="margin:1.8pt 0.0in 1.8pt 0.0px;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;text-indent:8.0px">Present scheduled client status meetings (quarterly) with senior leadership representation from Westinghouse and the client.</li> </ul> <h2 style="margin:10.0pt 0.0in 0.0in;font-size:14.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;color:#4f81bd"><a name="qualifications"></a>Qualifications:</h2> <ul style="margin-bottom:0.0in;margin-top:2.4px"> <li style="margin:1.8pt 0.0in 1.8pt 0.0px;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;text-indent:8.0px">Bachelor's degree required in the fields of: Engineering, Science, or Construction Management.</li> <li style="margin:1.8pt 0.0in 1.8pt 0.0px;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;text-indent:8.0px">5 years of experience with large high-complexity projects at Nuclear Power Plants is required. 10+ years is preferred.</li> <li style="margin:1.8pt 0.0in 1.8pt 0.0px;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;text-indent:8.0px">Specific experience preferred in the area of nuclear power plant integrated systems operation with a focus on balance of plant (thermal cycle) design and operation. Previously licensed nuclear power plant operators are welcome.</li> <li style="margin:1.8pt 0.0in 1.8pt 0.0px;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;text-indent:8.0px">Experience providing technical leadership on large high-value field-based projects at Nuclear plants.
