This Job Req is in support of a 4x10 shift Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon Required Unique skills: 1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and work experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of aircraft structures design. 2. Fundamental understanding of aircraft structures design principles and aircraft structural repair. 3. The ability to use computer aided design tools such as CCD, CATIA V4 & V5, AutoCAD, or similar in the design of aircraft structures. 4. Strong written and verbal communication and collaborative skills and the ability to effectively communicate the organization's position with external and internal customers. 5. The ability to effectively work with and support a multi-disciplined team of engineers, technicians, managers, customers, etc. 6. Flexibility to move quickly from one assignment to the next and the ability to handle multiple issues simultaneously. Preferred Unique skills 1. Gulfstream engineering experience, e.g. GIV, G450, GV, G550, G650, G500, G600 G700, G800. 2. Experience with Aircraft and Component Maintenance Manuals and Structural Repair Manuals. 3. Experience designing aircraft structural repair drawings with basic static stress analysis in support of the drawing. 4. Fundamental knowledge of composite and metal bonded structural design. 5. Experience credit considered for related adv degrees limited to 2 yrs for Masters and 4 yrs for PhD in fields applicable to this job.
