This position will be responsible for 20 or more direct reports to help maintain material and supplies for high quality manufactured products used all over the world. </p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><i><b>What Will You Do?</b></i></H2> </div><div><p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:<br>• Leads, directs, and coordinates the activities of hourly workforce<br>• Responsible for personnel items such as new hires, promotions, training, employee relations issues, etc.<br>• Monitors work areas<br>• Vacation and attendance tracking/approval<br>• Maintains all training documents<br>• Ensure all relevant teams are aligned and copied on communications, including emails, Teams chats, and text messages.<br>• Review production schedules daily before production begins.<br>• Organize and plan ahead to stay prepared for material changes and volume fluctuations.<br>• Anticipate labor needs and communicate them in advance to supervisory teams.<br>• Maintains proactive readiness by reviewing and preparing for daily production activities and upcoming schedule demands.<br>• Timely communication of material and labor needs.<br>• Analyze root causes of ongoing problems and propose realistic corrective actions.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><i><b>Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…</b></i></H2> </div><div><p><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS:</strong></p> <p>• PPE required daily<br>• Indoor/Outdoor environment</p> <p><strong>REQUIRED PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) WHILE IN THE SHOPS:</strong><br>• Safety Glasses<br>• Steel Toe Shoes<br>• Ear Plugs <br>• Gloves <br>• Hard Hats<br>• Warm coat for cold weather<br>• Raincoat for wet weather</p> <p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</strong>:</p> <p>• Ability to lift 50 pounds<br>• Frequent sitting, standing, stooping, bending, twisting, walking, and climbing<br>• Frequent pushing, pulling, and handling of material<br>• Occasional climbing and working at elevated positions</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><i><b>Your Experience Should Be...</b></i></H2> </div><div><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <p><strong>Minimum Education: </strong><br>High School Diploma or Equivalent</p> <p><strong>Minimum Experience:</strong><br>Minimum of 2 years experience in manufacturing setting<br>3-5 years managerial experience in a fast-paced environment</p> <p><strong>Preferred Skills (i.e. certifications, licenses, registrations, etc.):</strong><br>• Intermediate computer skills – JDE, Kronos, Microsoft Office<br>• Process Improvement<br>• Machine operations<br>• Expanded knowledge of BI Reports<br>• Bilingual (English & Spanish) a plus</p> <p><strong>REQUIREMENTS - MUST BE ABLE TO DO THE FOLLOWING:<br></strong>• Follow all safety procedures<br>• Ability to work independently and self-direct<br>• Information Analysis<br>• Ability to deal with complexity<br>• Communicate effectively to solve and analyze technical information finding resolution<br>• Time Management<br>• Organizational skills<br>• Dependability<br><br></p></div></div></div>
