This is a night shift position.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><i><b>What Will You Do?</b></i></H2> </div><div><p>Supervise the activities of production personnel engaged in all facets of the manufacturing function<br>• Perform a variety of tasks assigned by Manager/Supervisor<br>• Collect and report basic production data<br>• Execute basic time changing transactions<br>• Ensure employees are meeting efficiency targets and provide guidance/corrective action where necessary to meet those targets</p> <p><strong>OBJECTIVES:</strong></p> <p>• Onboard new employees - prepare JSA, have equipment ready for start date<br>• Modify timecards by the end of shift.<br>• Provide direction to leads for Glass/Mold/Line priority.<br>• Upload balance blades to system by 8 AM daily. (Tidal Report) - Day shift team.<br>• Distribute locks to new employees and have lock user agreement signed.<br>• Start shift with 30-minute handoff from previous shift by coordinator/lead designated to share feedback.<br>• Manage Mold/Line lead and drive production from floor team - directly related to expectation per work cell.<br>• Hold regular review sessions with employees who are not meeting their expected level of quality/efficiency as defined by learning guide. Document accordingly. <br>• Drive productivity from mold stations & operators to meet shift goals.<br>• Support with inventory counts. (AM Shift)<br>• Distribute PPE as needed. Enforce the expectation as described in JSA.<br>• Manage start up/break times and confirm employees leave/return according to schedule.<br>• Assist with personnel assignments based on schedule/employee skillset.<br>• Provide support with knowledge of quality product from each station/troubleshoot with employee if necessary.<br>• Support business operations when schedule changes occur.<br>• Coordinate necessary mold repairs with maintenance team & leadership to mitigate down time/keep the production floor in working order. <br>• Drive the understanding of mold station goal to each operator and develop their skillset to maintain the rounds per shift.<br>• Clear QC cart & move product to appropriate area with 1 shift after defined path forward. <br>• Maintain level of 5S throughout shop & production area.<br>• Complete incident report/4 Blocker for any safety issues within 24 hours of issue.<br>• Confirm TPM forms are completed by floor team at beginning/end of shift. Escalate issues to leadership team for resolution.<br>• Report to scheduled shifts & set the example as a leader for the shop team<br>• Understand shop shutdown requirements - boiler/compressor/pumps<br>• Able to provide feedback to employees as applicable<br>• Responsible for coordinating employees per priority set by production schedule <br>• Promote a positive safety culture<br>• Set an example of leadership for the Chart/Hudson 5s program <br>• Document all employee records in a timely manner, Onboarding and employee expectations by workstation<br>• Direct and coach team members to achieve department objectives<br>• Approve labor hours in a timely manner<br>• Monitor all Preventative Maintenance program on all Fans Shop equipment and report to Maintenance, Manager, and Supervisor in a timely manner <br>• Responsible to maintain all JSA’s and sign-in records, ensure all employees are signing in to their correct JSA’s (Digital and physical)<br>• Responsible to lead and conduct Safety Meetings in a timely manner<br>• Support and lead the unloading of resin bulk deliveries as needed and perform resin gel tests </p> <p><strong>INTERACTION:</strong></p> <p>• Works with shop floor, maintenance technicians & managers</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><i><b>Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…</b></i></H2> </div><div><p><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS:</strong></p> <p>• Must be able to work inside & outside</p> <p><strong>REQUIRED PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) WHILE IN THE SHOPS:</strong><br>• Safety Glasses<br>• Steel Toe Shoes<br>• Hard Hat<br>• High Visibility Vest<br>• Ear Plugs <br>• Gloves (when needed)</p> <p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p> <p>• Walking<br>• Standing<br>• Using hands<br>• Bending<br>• Lifting</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><i><b>Your Experience Should Be...</b></i></H2> </div><div><p>• Knowledge of a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures<br>• Ability to rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals<br>• Ability to report daily employee efficiency and provide feedback to employees<br>• Must be able to work rotating shifts</p> <p><strong>Minimum Education:</strong> <br>High School Diploma or Equivalent</p> <p><strong>Minimum Experience:</strong><br>5 years</p> <p><strong>Skills Required (i.e. certifications, licenses, registrations, etc.):</strong><br>Basic knowledge of the Fans Department or equivalent work setting, leadership experience, entry level of computer proficiency, verbal and written communication skills, highly dependable, self-directed, attention to detail, organizational skills.
