This is an onsite role as these products are manufactured at the Chart Ball Ground facility.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><i><b>What Will You Do?</b></i></H2> </div><div><ol> <li>Responsible for product design, documentation and support for LNG &amp; H2 vehicle fuel systems.</li> <li>Responsible for product structures, bills of material and manufacturing drawings.</li> <li>Initiates and manages changes via the Engineering Change Request process.</li> <li>Make necessary changes in design and/or drawings utilizing 3D CAD software. </li> <li>Provide technical information and specifications for components, assemblies and final products.</li> <li>Follow a 5-phase release process for new product introduction (ie: APQP).</li> <li>Support interdepartmental teams to evaluate manufacturability of products, improve production efficiency, assess tooling requirements, and estimating labor/material.</li> <li>Provide direct manufacturing support to resolve production problems.</li> <li>Provide support and engineering documentation for technical inquiries from customers.</li> <li>Define and communicate product /component specifications to suppliers for new products or special customer projects.</li> <li>Work with interdepartmental teams to ensure continuous compliance to ISO 9001, TS 16949 and IATF 16949 standards.</li> <li>Involvement in relevant standards organizations (ISO, NFPA, SAE etc.)</li> <li>Observe and practice safety procedures and policies.</li> <li>Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.</li> </ol></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><i><b>Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…</b></i></H2> </div><div><p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</strong></p> <ol> <li>Frequent standing, sitting and walking,</li> <li>Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs., occasional heavier lifting.</li> <li>Frequent computer work.</li> <li>Hands on to include working on different types of trucks</li> </ol> <p><strong>WORK ENVIRONMENT:</strong></p> <p><u>Working Conditions:</u></p> <ol> <li>Production factory support and office environment.</li> <li>Work related travel may be required (2 to 4 times per year).</li> <li>Possible travel to customer sites to gather data or work on various projects</li> </ol> <p><u>Work Hazards:</u></p> <ol> <li>Production floor environment will involve possible exposure to materials with rough edges, temperature extremes, moving mechanical parts, occasional flying debris, chemical cleaning solvents and their odors.</li> <li>Working with cryogenic products will involve possible exposure to pressurized flammable gas, pressurized oxidizing gas, pressurized inert gas and very low temperatures (-320º F).</li> </ol></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><i><b>Your Experience Should Be...</b></i></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>BS degree required, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.</li> <li>A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.</li> <li>Ideal candidate has experience in the heavy truck or automotive industry as an OEM supplier or OEM manufacturer.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</u></strong><u>:</u></p> <ol> <li>Excellent oral and written communication skills.</li> <li>Highly motivated self-starter and a team player.</li> <li>Customer service orientation.</li> <li>Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.</li> <li>Proven experience with 3D modeling and design utilizing AutoCAD/Inventor and/or SolidWorks.</li> <li>Exposure to JD Edwards or similar manufacturing software.</li> <li>Basic Understanding of Cryogenic Liquids and their properties a plus.</li> <li>Understanding of heat transfer and vacuum insulation.</li> <li>Heavy truck, automotive or diesel engine experience as related to fuel delivery and electrical systems a plus.</li> <li>Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, etc a plus.</li> <li>Experience with FEA a plus</li> </ol></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><i><b>Our Benefits Package...</b></i></H2> </div><div></div></div></div>
