Measures and records data for assigned projects. Interprets data and prepares recommendations. Writes reports and communicates results.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">You will do this by</H2> </div><div><ol> <li>Performs a variety of non-routine assignments of moderate complexity, including various engineering tests using sophisticated and/or specialized measurement devices and test equipment</li> <li>Fabricates prototype components and/or assemblies for product testing</li> <li>Documents all aspects of tests including objectives, procedures, results, conclusions and recommendations</li> <li>Compiles and computes a variety of engineering data; analyzes test and design data and prepare reports</li> <li>Analyzes problems and recommends solutions; expedites prototype parts or assemblies</li> <li>Develops, prepares and makes recommendations for schematics, designs, test procedures and/or specifications</li> <li>Performs other duties as assigned</li> </ol> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Qualifications</H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Associates in a Technical field or equivalent experience</li> <li>Five years of experience working with small/large engines, engine powered equipment or industry related products</li> <li>Ability to set-up, calibrate and use sophisticated and or specialized measurement devices and test equipment</li> <li>Understanding of a specialized technical area</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to learn complex engineering software</li> <li>Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Ability to interpret data and create technical documents</li> <li>Fluent in primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location and able to read English</li> <li>Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location</li> </ul></div></div></div><p><em>Briggs & Stratton, headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, provides innovative products and diverse power solutions to help people get work done.
