<div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Position Description</H2> </div><div><p>Performs various duties required to maintain inventory accuracy levels and support the flow of materials through the plant.</p> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Job Responsibilities</H2> </div><div><ol> <li>Manages a formal cycle counting program for the plant.</li> <li>Generates, distributes and enters correct counts for the location.</li> <li>Uses inventory control software for all inventory transactions and operates scan gun or computer to perform material movements; ensures inventory accuracy by investigating and correcting variances through cycle counting.</li> <li>Investigates, identifies, and reports root cause of inventory discrepancies and recommends corrective action.</li> <li>Runs appropriate reports that provide information for inventory analysis and decision making.</li> <li>Maintains tracking of deviations and engineering change notices (ECN).</li> <li>Performs other duties as assigned</li> </ol> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Job Skills Requirements</H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Familiarity and understanding of inventory control software</li> <li>Detail oriented and organized with the ability to prioritize to meet deadlines</li> <li>Intermediate computer skills with the ability to use spreadsheets and ERP system</li> <li>Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location</li> </ul> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Education</H2> </div><div><div>High School diploma</div></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Experience Requirements</H2> </div><div><p>2 years experience in a manufacturing and/or inventory control environment preferred.</p> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Physical & Environmental Requirements</H2> </div><div><div>Some physical demand; often lifting/moving average weight (25-50 lbs/11-27 kgs) material, may be required to lift up to 70lbs.</div><div>Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours)</div><div>Generally good working conditions.</div></div></div></div><p>Inventory Control Clerk</p>
