<div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">-</H2> </div><div><p>As a Human Resources Generalist your goal is to provide Human Resources support to one or more group(s) of employees at our Sherrill, NY and Munnsville, NY manufacturing facilities. <span style="color:white">#LI-MD1 #LI-Onsite</span></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>You will do this by:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Serving as the primary resource for employees and managers related to one or more functional HR areas; developing reports and analyzing as required; recommending action within HR and/or to employees and managers; providing proactive resolution of employee concerns and problems with the goal of future problem prevention.</li> <li>Researching, analyzing and developing recommendations for continuous improvement of HR processes, procedures or programs to deliver innovative solutions to meet needs: assisting in the implementation of new or revised policies and procedures. </li> <li>Delivering written communications and presentations to communicate concepts related to one or more functional HR areas for diverse audiences of employees; developing and conducting training and presentations.</li> <li>Managing the recruitment efforts for hourly, exempt and nonexempt employees, students and temporary employees; may conduct new-employee orientations.</li> <li>Proactively partner with managers to identify and develop talent within the assigned business; coaching employees and managers, as necessary, in the individual performance and development process to achieve career goals.</li> <li>Partnering with business to manage employee relations issues such as Performance Improvement Plans, investigations, disciplinary measures, etc.</li> <li>Working with managers and the Compensation team to ensure total compensation for the business is competitive. Identifying, facilitating, and resolving compensation and benefits issues quickly.</li> <li>Supporting outsourced processes, such as, FMLA/LOA and Workers Compensation providing feedback when issues arise along with solutions.</li> <li>Maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><em>The above statements are intended only to describe the general nature of the job and should not be construed as an all-inclusive list of position responsibilities. </em></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>You are the kind of person who is/has:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Able to build trusting relationships with the employees and leaders you support</li> <li>Adaptable and flexible</li> <li>Collaborative</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">-</H2> </div><div><p><strong>Qualifications: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience</li> <li>At least three years of related professional, progressive experience in a human resources setting</li> <li>Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred</li> <li>Demonstrated knowledge of principles and practices of human resources functions and a specific function within HR</li> <li>Strong organization and time management/project management skills necessary to prioritize and manage multiple, complex projects, potentially with conflicting priorities; ability to react quickly in a fast-paced, changing environment</li> <li>Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information</li> <li>Good communication skills to facilitate work with diverse groups of employees</li> <li>Demonstrated skills in employee relations with good analytical and problem-solving skills</li> <li>Able to work independently and use sound judgment in decision making</li> <li>Solid computer skills</li> <li>Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><em>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</em></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>NY State Compensation: </strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>For this position, the expected base annual salary range is $70,000 to $90,000 USD commensurate with experience.
