DOE:$20.58- $30.88</div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Accountabilities</H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Ability to read a meter accurately</li> <li>Performs leak repairs, maintains mains, fire hydrants, installation of new sendees, setting meters, changing out meters, and repairs services</li> <li>Keeps the direct Supervisor aware of all field customer service problems and needs</li> <li>Uses PC tablets for field service applications to process seiwice orders, etc</li> <li>Performs minor service repairs</li> <li>Works delinquent disconnects and reconnects as assigned</li> <li>Resets meters as needed or instructed</li> <li>Assists in the replacement of meters and registers</li> <li>Assists in the preparation and completion of service orders and other paperwork</li> <li>Operates various hand and power tools and mechanical equipment while installing, operating, and repairing mains, services, meters, valves, and fire hydrants</li> <li>Helps install, tap, re-line, disinfect, test, and comiect water mains and appurtenances</li> <li>Repairs, disinfects, and tests broken water mains</li> <li>Assists in setting up work area traffic controls</li> <li>Assists in making field and job-related decisions using Company policies and procedures</li> <li>Reports and communicates to his or her supervisor all daily activities, needed repairs, hazards, challenges, needs, etc</li> <li>Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. T1 Treatment Certificate is desirable</li> <li>Be able to gain proficiency in basic construction and maintenance methods and procedures of a water utility</li> <li>Be able to comprehend the use and functions of the (C.I.S.)
