We're looking for a Professional services engineer to join our Professional Services team in Athens. This is a technical, customer-facing role — not a core product engineering position. You'll work directly with enterprise clients to deliver custom technical solutions that help them get the most out of Workable, collaborating closely with Implementation Managers throughout the process.

Responsibilities
Technical Delivery
Build and deploy custom integrations tailored to client needs — from requirements gathering through to productionExecute data migrations, ensuring the secure and accurate transfer of legacy data into WorkableDevelop SQL-based custom reports and data visualisations for clientsConfigure complex, customised feature sets within customer accountsBuild and maintain internal tooling, including requirement gathering and technical design documentationClient & Project Collaboration
Work hand-in-hand with Implementation Managers to ensure smooth client onboarding from sale to go-liveDefine technical milestones within the broader project plan and give accurate delivery timelinesIdentify potential technical blockers early and propose practical workaroundsJoin client calls to translate technical processes into clear business outcomesDocument all custom configurations so IMs can support clients post-implementationCross-Team Support
Act as a technical subject matter expert for Sales and Implementation teamsProvide API consultation and answer technical questions for non-technical colleaguesWork with Tech Leads to test and deploy custom solutions to internal standardsWe invest in training engineers in the technology stack we use. Requirements
You must have:
1–3 years of software engineering experience, preferably in PythonSolid SQL skills and experience working with databasesA BSc in Computer Science or equivalent (coding school + non-CS degree considered)Strong written and verbal communication skills — you'll be in front of clients regularlyThe ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences clearly and confidentlyComfort working directly with enterprise customers and translating their needs into technical solutionsNice to have:
Experience with AWS (Redshift, S3, EC2, Lambda)Familiarity with the full SDLCExperience with KubernetesRuby or Ruby on Rails
