Our client is seeking a visionary Area Coach to lead their expansion across Thuringia, Saxony, and Bavaria—starting with the launch of 1–2 new restaurants in 2026 and building a robust regional network. The current work arrangement is remote/travel-based.

The future office will be located in one of the cities in Thuringia, Saxony, or Bavaria.

Your ResponsibilitiesLaunch of the First Restaurants:

Support the opening of 1–2 KFC restaurants in 2026, covering the full cycle from site handover to the first day of operationsEnsure full compliance with KFC operational standards during the launch phaseFinance & P&L

Responsibility for restaurant P&L during the opening phaseControl operational costs and achieve planned profitability targetsParticipate in the preparation of opening budgets and budgets for the first months of operationOptimize staffing levels and shift schedules in compliance with German labour lawTeam

Recruit and train the initial restaurant teams (cashiers, cooks, cleaning staff)Establish service, hygiene, and safety standardsProvide coaching and mentorship for future Restaurant ManagersExternal Communication

Liaise with the KFC brand owner regarding standards and auditsWork with trade unions, health and safety authorities, and local government bodiesPrepare restaurants for inspections by regulatory and supervisory authoritiesOperational Support

Conduct weekly on-site work in restaurants to ensure quality control and team supportAnalyse key performance indicators, including service speed, guest satisfaction, and compliance with standardsImplement digital management tools in accordance with GDPR requirementsContractors & Opening Readiness

Coordinate with contractors (construction, equipment, cleaning, service providers)Monitor restaurant readiness for opening and formally accept key works and systemsRequirements

Fluent German (C1/C2) — mandatory for working with trade unions and public authoritiesAt least 2 years of experience in the restaurant or retail sector (e.g. Restaurant Manager, Supervisor, Trainer)Understanding of German labour law is an advantageWillingness to travel frequently within the region (30–50% of working time)Higher education is preferred but not mandatory — hands-on experience is highly valuedBenefits
