About the Role
We’re hiring an experienced Amazon Operations Manager to lead end-to-end operational execution across U.S. and international Amazon marketplaces during a high-growth phase.
This is a strategic, hands-on role responsible for ensuring inventory availability, logistics efficiency, reimbursement recovery, and operational issue resolution across a global, omnichannel business. You’ll work cross-functionally with supply chain, finance, marketing, and product teams to audit, troubleshoot, and optimize product-level operations.
This role requires deep expertise in Amazon Seller Central (3P) and strong operational ownership across multiple regions.
Areas of Accountability
Inventory & Supply Chain Operations
Create, manage, and optimize FBA and FBM shipment plans across global marketplaces Partner with planning teams to forecast inventory needs and prevent stockouts or excess inventory Monitor sell-through rates, weeks of cover, and inbound performance metrics Manage aged, excess, stranded, and unsellable inventory Optimize replenishment and inventory placement strategies
Logistics, 3PL & Freight Management
Partner with domestic and international 3PLs for kitting, labeling, prep, and storage Coordinate inbound freight (LTL, FTL, ocean, air) Ensure compliance with Amazon FBA prep and labeling requirements Track inbound shipments and resolve discrepancies Support customs, duties, and cross-border fulfillment processes
Operational Auditing & Issue Resolution
Audit inbound discrepancies, packaging issues, fee inaccuracies, and fulfillment center errors Identify root causes and drive corrective actions Proactively flag operational risks Document operational issues and implement preventative SOPs
Seller Central Operations
Manage reimbursements for lost, damaged, or mis-received inventory Audit FBA fees and storage charges Resolve stranded inventory due to operational errors Open and escalate Seller Central cases related to operations and fulfillment Monitor account health metrics
Global Marketplace Operations
Support operational execution across all global marketplaces Manage region-specific compliance and operational requirements Coordinate cross-marketplace inventory transfers Support operational readiness for new marketplace launches
Reporting & Process Improvement
Build dashboards for inventory health, reimbursement recovery, and operational KPIs Identify cost leakage and inefficiencies Develop and document SOPs for scalable workflows
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with supply chain, product, packaging, finance, and marketing teams Align inventory planning with promotions and demand spikes Drive operational accountability across regions and sales channels
Requirements
7+ years of experience with Amazon Seller Central (3P) Strong expertise in FBA/FBM operations and inventory management Experience working with 3PLs and freight partners (domestic & international) Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, forecasting models, cost analysis) Multi-marketplace operational experience
Preferred
Experience with ERP systems (bonus for NetSuite) Familiarity with Amazon global fulfillment programs International marketplace experience
