<div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:20.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Overview</b></H2> </div><div><p>Organize and store product to meet customer specifications in compliance with company policy related to GMP’s and Safety.</p> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:20.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Responsibilities</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Unload, receive & putaway corrugate/boxes.</li> <li>Unload, receive & putaway of trays/lids.</li> <li>Unload, receive & putaway anti-cake powder into flow rail locations.</li> <li>Ensure putaway organization is maintained……boxes into their designated storage bins as well as proper FIFO for anti-cake powder and trays/lids.</li> <li>Accurately process all inbound paperwork as well as daily receiving log.</li> <li>Assist with back-filling trays/lids for production into freezer bin locations.</li> <li>Transfer blocked inventory from FG cooler to WIP/cheese sale.</li> <li>Transfer 4/5’s for production use from corrugate dock to raw material coolers.</li> <li>Pull boxes for IC shipments to sister plants, adding placards.</li> <li>Loading damaged Chep and/or white wood pallets…..keeping corrugate dock clear.</li> <li>Loading empty chubb trays & baby swiss boxes for return to the suppliers.</li> <li>Support unloading film or labels, if needed.</li> <li>Support putaway of film or labels, if needed.</li> <li>Provide support for monthly employee cheese sale, if needed.</li> <li>Assist Inventory Specialist with inventory tasks, if needed.</li> <li>Keep packaging storage areas clean/organized, ensuring items are putaway in proper location.</li> <li>General housekeeping tasks in warehouse, as needed.</li> <li>Compliance with all safety standards and regulations per company policy.</li> <li>All GLC employees are expected to perform any assignment or job task according to the stated safety policies and procedures.</li> <li>All GLC employees are expected to produce and promote our products and services in a manner that exceeds the quality and value expectation of our customers and consumers by adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices, Policies and Procedures outlined in our Safe Quality Food Program</li> <li>Other responsibilities as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager.</li> </ul> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:20.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Required Education and Experience</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Ability to read and prepare shipping and receiving records/reports and comprehend production schedules/pick sheets.</li> <li>Ability to make sound decisions based on functional expertise and experience.</li> <li>Repetitive work, ability to make minor decisions based on standard practices.</li> </ul> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:20.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Preferred Education and Experience</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>High School diploma or GED.</li> <li>Basic understanding of shipping and receiving processes and related equipment.</li> <li>Lift truck experience.</li> </ul> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:20.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Working Conditions</b></H2> </div><div><div>• Hair nets, ear plugs/muffs, hardhats, and/or safety glasses may be required.</div><div>• Repetitive work in a fast-paced production environment with average temperature of 50-60 degrees F.</div><div>• Ability to frequently handle material from floor-to-waist, waist-to-shoulder and pushing/pulling/carrying.</div><div>• Ability to constantly stand/walk; bend/flex/extend neck; frequently grip/reach/lift/pull with L/R hands.</div><div>• Product weight: up to 100 lbs</div></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:20.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>EEOC & Disclaimer</b></H2> </div><div><div>Great Lakes Cheese is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.</div></div></div></div>
