This position is mainly based in the field, working out of service truck in the Yard and on our multiple project sites within Calgary and surrounding areas.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Hands on maintenance and repairs of all civil construction equipment including dozers, articulated trucks, excavators, etc.</li> <li>Running repairs and maintenance work.</li> <li>Replacing components.</li> <li>Troubleshoot and diagnosing electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults.</li> <li>Preventive maintenance and services.</li> <li>Complete work according to the manufacturer’s specifications.</li> <li>Work closely with customers maintenance and operations personnel.</li> <li>Interpret work orders and technical manuals.</li> <li>Keep equipment cleaned, lubricated and maintained.</li> <li>Diagnose faults or malfunctions.</li> <li>Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems.</li> <li>Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure that the work done meets manufacturers' specifications and legislated regulations.</li> <li>Complete service reports.</li> <li>Ability to understand hydraulic and electronic schematics.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Minimum Requirements:</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Provincial Journeyperson or Red Seal Certification in <strong>Heavy Equipment Technician</strong> trade</li> <li>Minimum 3–5 years of experience servicing and repairing heavy equipment in a field or a yard </li> <li>Experience working independently out of a service truck in active construction environments</li> <li>Ability and willingness to travel to multiple job sites and work primarily in the field</li> <li>Strong commitment to safety, with knowledge of safe work practices and job site protocols</li> <li>Valid Class 5 Driver's License</li> <li>Reliable transportation to get to work</li> </ul><div style="text-align:center"> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt"><strong>COME AND GET YOUR BOOTS DIRTY!</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">At Jardeg, we power the workforce behind Graham and its trusted workforce partners, recruiting skilled trades and construction professionals who help deliver complex projects across Canada.
