If so, Let’s work together!</span></p> <p style="text-align:justify"> </p> <p style="text-align:justify"> </p><p><span style=""><strong>About the Role</strong></span></p> <p><span style="">The Field Engineer Intern is responsible for aiding assistance to more senior staff (Project Managers, Superintendents) in the coordination, scheduling, quantity surveying, reporting, and quality control functions of a projects in Montrose and Parshall area. This is a task-based role that requires working knowledge of core elements of construction projects (field management, estimating, project management). </span></p> <p><span style=""><strong>As a Field Engineer Intern at Moltz, you will:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style=""><span style="">Perform a variety of duties including but not limited to administrative duties, update schedules and budgets, maintain cost control, and monitor labor material and equipment activities on the project</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Work with Project Managers/on-site Superintendent to update project schedule and budget to identify potential construction issues</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Attend all project team meetings, and document team meetings, action items, and other pertinent project deliverables/decisions</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Monitor project change management process, identify change events, submit change notices, track changes and optional changes in project scope, and present to the Project Manager when required</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Assist with drawings, drawing records, revisions, site instructions and change orders</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Support Project Manager and Superintendent with creating templates and supporting documents on behalf of project team regarding roles and responsibilities</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Record change orders and update site drawings</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Monitor payroll functions, cost accruals and reviews on a regular basis</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Maintain QA/QC and Safety records</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Review the Field Surveillance Reports (FSR) and initiate NCRs based on analysis and severity of findings</span></li> </ul> <p><span style=""><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style=""><span style="">In progress Trade Certification or Technical Diploma/Degree in Engineering or related field experience is required.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">2-3 years construction experience is a plus</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Strong presentation skills.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Proficient with MS Office Suite.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Proficient using scheduling and project management software</span></li> </ul><p><span style=""><strong>Compensation and Benefits:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style=""><span style="">Hourly rate: $35-$45/ hour</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">On the job training and rapid career advancement for those with the drive and skill set</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style=""><strong>If this sounds like you, then Moltz Construction Inc. may be the right fit.
