This is a varied, hands-on role combining analytical work with on-site quality monitoring and occasionally assist with forklift operations when required.</p> <p><br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br>• Conduct routine laboratory testing on raw materials and finished growing media products<br>• Prepare, label, and process samples in line with internal procedures<br>• Perform quality control checks throughout production processes<br>• Accurately record, analyses, and report test results<br>• Support investigation and resolution of quality issues and non-conformances<br>• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment<br>• Ensure laboratory areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with standards<br>• Support adherence to quality, environmental, and health & safety procedures<br>• Work closely with production team to monitor and improve product quality<br>• Occasionally assist with forklift operations when required also operate weighbridge</p> <p><br><strong>Requirements</strong><br>• Previous laboratory or quality control experience preferred but not essential<br>• Strong attention to detail and good data recording skills<br>• Practical, hands-on approach with good problem-solving ability<br>• Forklift license desirable (training can be provided)<br>• Flexible and willing to support wider site activities when needed</p></div></div></div>
