Based in Warsaw, Poland and reporting to the Head of Treasury Europe, you will be responsible for daily credit control and credit insurance activities across multiple European countries.<br>You will play a key role in supporting Sales with pragmatic, commercially sound credit solutions, ensuring SOX compliance, and contributing to monthly and quarterly closing activities. A major focus of the role is driving automation, standardisation, and process optimisation, leveraging ERP systems and modern credit management tools to enhance efficiency, transparency, and control across the Europe region.</p> <p><br><strong>The Responsibilities<br></strong>Compliance Management & Process Harmonization<br>• Align and standardize credit and credit insurance processes across European countries in scope<br>• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and SOX requirements<br>• Prepare and analyse bi monthly debtor reports, ensuring accuracy and consistency<br>• Maintain customer credit limits and manage close interaction with the credit insurer<br>• Act as the primary point of contact for the credit insurer (Atradius)<br>• Support continuous process improvement through automation and robust control frameworks<br><br>Credit Risk Assessment<br>• Assess the financial stability and creditworthiness of new and existing customers<br>• Coordinate new and existing credit limits with the Group Credit Manager<br>• Proactively identify credit risks and propose structured, data driven mitigation actions<br><br>Sales & Commercial Support<br>• Partner with Sales and Marketing to provide insights into customer performance and risk exposure<br>• Manage and monitor customer credit lines and insurance coverage<br>• Negotiate and develop creative, business oriented solutions together with Sales where coverage limitations exist<br><br>Collections & Dispute Support<br>• Collaborate closely with local and central collections teams to manage overdue receivables<br>• Support the resolution of complex credit issues and disputes while safeguarding company exposure<br><br>Reporting, Automation & Data Transparency<br>• Simplify, standardize, and automate credit reporting within ERP systems (SAP and QAD)<br>• Translate complex financial and credit data into clear, actionable management insights<br>• Prepare and support management reporting on credit risk, insurance coverage, and exposure<br>• Actively collaborate with the global credit insurance department<br><br>ERP Optimization & System Integration<br>• Customize and optimize SAP and QAD functionalities to support evolving credit management needs<br>• Streamline workflows and reduce manual interventions to drive efficiency<br>• Lead and support the rollout of the SAP Credit Management Tool across Europe<br>• Ensure effective integration and interaction between SAP and QAD<br><br>Fraud Prevention & Internal Controls<br>• Collect and analyse data related to potential fraud risks<br>• Perform regular reviews and audits of credit processes to identify gaps and improve controls<br>• Contribute to the development of standardized anti fraud procedures<br>• Support training to increase awareness of fraud risks, red flags, and compliance requirements</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"></H2> </div><div><p><strong>The Requirements</strong><br>Education & Experience<br>• University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field<br>• Proven experience in credit management using SAP and QAD ERP systems<br>• Strong knowledge of credit insurance principles and trade incoterms<br>• Solid understanding of credit management standards, compliance, and SOX controls<br>• Demonstrated experience in process harmonisation, automation, and systems optimisation<br>• Experience working on project based implementations and cross country initiatives<br><br>Skills & Competencies<br>• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across functions<br>• Excellent communication skills with the ability to balance commercial objectives and risk<br>• Analytical, hands on, proactive, and solution oriented<br>• Comfortable working in a fast changing, international environment<br><br>Languages<br>• Fluent in spoken and written English</p></div></div></div>
