KWS Berlin GmbH is looking for a Process Excellence Manager (m/f/d) - O2C in the Order-to-Cash Department with knowledge of English and/or German. This is a full-time permanent position at our Berlin-based entity. Your responsibilities: <ul type="disc"> <li>Own global O2C process design (credit management, billing, collections, etc.), including RACI and control framework; act as design authority for end-to-end O2C processes</li> <li>Lead continuous improvement roadmap using Lean/Six Sigma principles; conduct maturity assessments and evolve the target operating model</li> <li>Ensure compliance with policies, internal controls (ICS), segregation of duties, and audit requirements</li> <li>Drive standardization and change management, including SOPs, training curriculum, and communication</li> <li>Define, harmonize and track process KPIs (DSO, collection cycle, cash allocation SLA, etc.); collaborate with Automation Lead and key users to identify and implement automation opportunities</li> <li>Support the Head of O2C by fostering a culture of continuous improvement across O2C</li> </ul> Your tasks: <ul type="disc"> <li>Lead and facilitate end-to-end continuous improvement initiatives:</li> <ul type="disc"> <li>Conduct value stream mapping, Kaizen events, and root-cause analysis</li> <li>Identify systemic improvement opportunities across O2C processes</li> <li>Prioritize initiatives based on impact</li> <li>Deliver signed-off improvements with measurable benefits</li> </ul> <li>Manage process change governance (BPM in Signavio), SOPs, and control narratives; oversee periodic reviews and ensure readiness for releases and transformation</li> <li>Partner with PMO of E-invoicing for the implementation of E-invoicing mandates as per changing regulatory needs within the European Union and beyond</li> <li>Partner with O2C Data analytics and leadership to define KPI standards and ensure transparency</li> <li>Assist team lead with internal and external audits related to O2C</li> <li>Support Head of O2C as needed in senior management meetings</li> </ul> Your profile: <ul> <li>Academic degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or related field</li> <li>Proven experience in O2C/Shared Services/Finance</li> <li>Excellent project management skills paired with strong experience in continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt is a plus)</li> <li>Strong knowledge of O2C ERPs (such as SAP/Oracle), control design, and policy frameworks</li> <li>Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and driving process adoption</li> <li>Proficient in tools such as SAP, process mining, data visualization</li> <li>Sound experience with process modelling (BPMN), service management</li> <li>Proficiency with project management tools and techniques </li> <li>Fluent in English (verbal and written).
