We are currently looking for a<strong> full-time permanent Seed Processing Line Operator</strong>, where the main responsibility is to monitor seed line equipment during operations to ensure high quality seed processing and production. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Summary / Purpose:</strong></p> <p>Monitor seed line equipment during operations to ensure high quality seed processing and production. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Essential Job Functions:</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li>Monitor seed processing equipment during operations</li> <li>Follow procedures and documentation, communicate clearly during shift change, avoid contamination, and ensure product is tagged correctly</li> <li>Ensure quality and safety standards are met</li> <li>Inspect and quality check product, verify accuracy</li> <li>Interpret specifications and calibrate machines to reach goals</li> <li>Simultaneously operate multiple pieces of equipment to produce product efficiently</li> <li>Operate systems such as Human Manufacturing Interface (HMI) and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) </li> <li>Train and lead temp labor crews in seed processing functions</li> <li>Monitor indicators to assess progress production and maintenance needs</li> <li>Drive forklift to move inventory, pallets, and other equipment</li> <li>Ensure company handbook, rules, guidelines, and procedures and safety policies are followed </li> <li>Wear Personal Protective Equipment as needed</li> <li>Work a variable work schedule as needed </li> <li>Occasionally travel and/or drive and/or operate a forklift on behalf of the business</li> <li>Meet attendance requirements</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li>Demonstrated teamwork</li> <li>Strong technical skills</li> <li>Able to become forklift certified</li> <li>Flexibility to work rotating shifts as needed</li> <li>High school diploma or equivalent</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li>Production or related experience</li> <li>Experience in agriculture</li> <li>Proficient computer skills</li> <li>SCADA, HMI, and MES experience</li> <li>General working and mechanical knowledge</li> <li>Ability to train others to operate HMI interfaces </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>What we offer:</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li>Competitive salary (salary $23.28/hr)</li> <li>Health, dental, vision benefits</li> <li>Pension plan and 401(k) with employer match</li> <li>Flexible paid-time-off (PTO)</li> <li>Professional training and development opportunities</li> <li>An international and diverse team</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Grow your career by submitting your application online via our online application system SuccessFactors!
