In this strategic,<strong> full-time</strong> and <strong>unlimited </strong>role, you will optimize production processes, ensure high-quality seed supply for national and international customers, and lead the development of the German cross crops production department. </p> <p>Join a purpose-driven organization committed to innovation, collaboration, and sustainable agriculture. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>What you can look forward to:</strong></p> <ul> <li> Leading and developing teams in Seed Production (including trial seeds), Production Consultancy, Quality Laboratory, and Logistics</li> <li>Steering the production activities and performance by indicators (industrial indicators, financial results, production cost ratio, personal goals defined)</li> <li>Driving professional and personal development of direct reports and team members</li> <li>Managing budget and mid-term planning (investments, personnel, cost centers, production costs)</li> <li>Taking accountability for multiplication and production planning, including negotiation and coordination with external partners</li> <li>Acting as a key interface to KWS sales organization, international production networks, and crop leads</li> <li>Shaping the future of the production department by evolving structures, equipment, and crop portfolios </li> <li>Ensuring compliance with official regulations and advancing KWS internal standards and guidelines</li> <li>Leading and contributing to strategic projects and cross-functional initiatives</li> <li>Representing KWS and contributing actively to seed associations and industry networks </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Bring your strengths:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Completed studies in agriculture, economics, or a related field</li> <li>Several years of proven experience in industry, ideally within the seed industry or seed production </li> <li>Demonstrated experience in leading leaders and managing complex organizational structures</li> <li>Excellent German skills (spoken and written) and good English proficiency</li> <li>Strong proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems, ideally SAP S/4</li> <li>Strong leadership presence, assertiveness, and the ability to manage change effectively</li> <li>Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership and openness to sharing ideas across the organization </li> <li>Proven leadership strength, combining reliability, empathy, and the ability to lead teams through change and complexity </li> <li>High flexibility and collaboration skills, with an open mindset and strong cross-functional and stakeholder engagement</li> <li>Willingness to engage in industry networks and seed associations </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Start your future with us!
