Ensure products meet quality requirements through development of inspection processes, data analysis and resolution of quality issues while driving continuous improvement. <ul style="margin-bottom:8.0pt;margin-top:0.0px"> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:10.5pt">Interpret engineering drawings using GD&T standards for incorporation into inspection methods. <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:10.5pt">Implement and maintain hard gauging. <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:10.5pt">Monitor, control and calibration of inspection and measurement equipment <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:10.5pt">Perform MSA to ensure inspection capabilities <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:10.5pt">Identify and implement gauging improvements <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:10.5pt">Develop and maintain inspection programs utilizing CMM, form and contour/ surface finish inspection equipment. <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:10.5pt">Develop and administer training for inspection and measurement techniques. <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:10.5pt">Facilitate automatic data collection and analysis (SPC and capability). <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:10.5pt">Evaluation and disposition of nonconforming material including rework and scrap. <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:10.5pt">Evaluation and disposition of customer returns. <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:10.5pt">Lead and support root cause corrective actions utilizing tools such as A3 and 8D. <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:10.5pt">Develop and maintain quality documentation including procedures, work instructions, and records. <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:10.5pt">Internal and external audit support. <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:10.5pt">Drive continuous improvement activities utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:10.5pt">Other duties as assigned. </ul> Requirements: <ul style="margin-bottom:8.0pt;margin-top:0.0px"> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:10.5pt">Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field or equivalent education and experience. <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:10.5pt">Minimum of 5 years’ manufacturing experience with increasing responsibilities, preferably in Aerospace. <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:10.5pt">Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications with GD&T experience. <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:10.5pt">Highly motivated. <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:10.5pt">Team oriented. <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:10.5pt">Excellent communication skills – verbal and written. </ul> Desired <ul style="margin-bottom:8.0pt;margin-top:0.0px"> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:10.5pt">CMM programming (ie., Zeiss Calypso, PC-DMIS). <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:10.5pt">Experience with form and contour inspection equipment (ie., Mahr, Taylor Hobson). <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:10.5pt">Proficiency with measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges). <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:10.5pt">Calibration experience. </ul> What You’ll Love About SKF: Rest and Relaxation.
