As directed by Maintenance Leadership the Packaging Mechanic will complete planned improvements and maintenance project work. The role is supported by the broader Maintenance Organization, including R&M Leads, Planners, Stockroom Personnel, and the Maintenance Manager. It requires regular interaction with Operations colleagues and Leadership to ensure maintenance efforts align with production needs and operational priorities. Additionally, the position interfaces with Engineering as directed by the M&R Leader and works closely with the MRO Stores team and Maintenance Planners to update and improve preventative maintenance documentation. This includes developing optimized PMs that may incorporate parts kitting to enhance efficiency and reliability.</span></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li style=""><span style="">Performs preventative maintenance including CBM/TBM PM's as required</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Collects, analyzes, and reports on machine conditions to identify abnormalities that require planned downtime to correct.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Responsible for communicating PM deliverables to Maintenance Leadership</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Responsible for working on mechanically complex machines including high speed packaging lines</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Will use MS Office software for data collection, and reporting</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Will use the SAP Maintenance function, and become fluent in the use of SAP</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Responsible for reporting urgent repairs required that were observed in the performance of duties</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Supports Detailed Root Cause Analysis as required to identify failure causes and impacts on machine breakdowns.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Performs and develops preventative maintenance inspections</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Performs equipment lubrication, and oil analysis procedure as needed</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Supports mechanical repairs and component disassembly as needed.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Assists in training mechanical staff on machine operation, repair, setup and center lining</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">May be required to facilitate or perform major refurbishment of assemblies or machines as directed.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Assumes responsibility for safe work practices in the performance of duties.
