Employer will not sponsor an applicant for a work visa for this position.</strong></p> </p> <p><p><strong><u>Roles:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Design and implement complex emissions and certification test systems</li> <li>Integrate subsystems and lead system commissioning activities</li> <li>Troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical issues</li> <li>Serve as a technical leader on-site, driving projects through to successful completion</li> <li>Partner closely with Project Managers to manage timelines and budgets</li> <li>Build strong customer relationships through clear communication and exceptional service</li> <li>Act as liaison and company representative with customers.</li> <li>Commission test systems including: <ul> <li>Setup and troubleshoot test and measurement systems</li> <li>Implement and tune complex control loops</li> <li>Integrate auxiliary equipment into test systems</li> <li>Setup monitoring and control of relevant safeties</li> <li>Create commissioning documentation</li> <li>Provide training on system applications</li> <li>Obtain customer sign-off</li> </ul> </li> <li>Write and implement complex custom tests</li> <li>Provide sales technical support.</li> <li>Provide project engineering technical support.</li> <li>Help desk consultation.</li> <li>Develop and present advanced training.</li> <li>Technical research.</li> <li>Other tasks as assigned </li> </ul> </p> <p><p><u><strong>Qualifications/Skills:</strong></u></p> <ul> <li>5-7+ years of relevant experience in emissions systems, regulations, testing, and commissioning</li> <li>Strong background in the automotive industry</li> <li>Deep technical expertise and a passion for emissions and regulatory compliance</li> <li>Proven ability to take ownership of projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Excellent communication and customer-facing skills</li> <li>Bachelors&apos; degree in engineering or equivalent</li> <li>Master&apos;s degree in engineering or equivalent preferred</li> <li>Proficient in mechanical and electrical assembly</li> <li>Proficient in vibration analysis and torsional vibration analysis</li> <li>Experience in test automation equipment preferred</li> <li>In depth understanding of electrical and mechanical processes</li> <li>Expertise related to testing methods and applications</li> <li>Able to read and understand electrical and mechanical schematics and drawings</li> <li>Strong software adaption and modification skills preferred</li> <li>Background in vehicle emissions equipment <ul> <li>Experience with programming or testing of vehicle or engine emissions.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Understanding of instrumentation and electrical processes</li> <li>Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills</li> <li>Thorough knowledge of PC operation, structure, MS Windows, and computer networking required</li> </ul> </p> <p style="text-align:justify"> </p> <p style="text-align:justify">We look forward to receiving your details; please use our online application form or send your application to AVL North America, Inc. / AVL Test Systems, Inc. / AVL Mobility Technologies, Inc.
