<p>AVL Iberica offers a job in Spain (ES) as</p> <h1 style="color:#092332;font-size:30.0pt;line-height:35.0pt"><b>Calibration Engineer Hybrid Powertrain</b></h1> <h2 style="color:#092332;font-size:18.0pt;line-height:26.0pt"></h2> <p> </p> <p><p><span style="font-size:14.0px">Several possibilities for Calibration Engineers within our growing workgroup that include:</span></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li> <p><span style="font-size:14.0px"><b>System validation engineers: </b>Follow a validation plan to verify the correct behavior of powertrain components when submitted to a failure</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span style="font-size:14.0px"><b>Powertrain debug engineers: </b>Assist production / end-of-line / dealerships and calibration teams to maintain prototypes and customer vehicles fully operational</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span style="font-size:14.0px"><b>Calibration data management: </b>Assembly, validation and industrialization of calibrations related to powertrain components</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span style="font-size:14.0px"><b>Generic calibration engineers:</b> Plan and perform a wide range of tests within engine bench and vehicle on engine base calibration / emission / diagnostics or driveability</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span style="font-size:14.0px"><b>Calibration pilots: </b>work together with junior and senior calibration engineers to ensure the proper development of the calibration (technical lead - overview of all activities)</span></p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0px">Mostly gasoline hybrid platforms within our current projects</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0px">Calibration of internal combustion engine and high voltage components </span></p> <p> </p> </p> <p> </p> <p><b>YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></p> <p> </p> <p><p><span style="font-size:14.0px">Depending on selected role</span></p></p> <p> </p> <p><b>YOUR PROFILE:</b></p> <p> </p> <p><ul> <li> <p><span style="font-size:14.0px">Education: Mechanical /Automotive / or similar Engineering degree</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span style="font-size:14.0px">Masters in Automotive related subjects desirable</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span style="font-size:14.0px">Provided understanding of internal combustion engines and power electronics</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span style="font-size:14.0px">Competences acquired on ETAS INCA, AVL Concerto, Vector Canalyzer, AVL Concerto, AVL Creta, DDT2000; Matlab simulink or similar tools required</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span style="font-size:14.0px">English and Spanish required</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span style="font-size:14.0px">French is a plus</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span style="font-size:14.0px">Driving license B (passenger cars) mandatory</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span style="font-size:14.0px">Minimum 1 year of previous calibration experience.
