<p>AVL Italia S.p.A. offers a job in Italy (IT) as</p> <h1 style="color:#092332;font-size:30.0pt;line-height:35.0pt"><strong>Electrical Systems Design Engineer</strong></h1> <h2 style="color:#092332;font-size:18.0pt;line-height:26.0pt"></h2> <p> </p><p><p>The Electrical Systems Design Engineer<strong> </strong>is responsible for the development of electrical design solutions for complex industrial systems, supporting projects from the proposal phase through to final delivery, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations</p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p> <p> </p> <p><ul> <li>Collaborate with the sales and proposal team during the bidding phase to identify the most suitable technical solutions.</li> <li>Analyze customer specifications and develop solutions aligned with project requirements.</li> <li>Estimate material costs and required labor resources for project execution.</li> <li>Prepare technical documentation for the manufacturing of electrical equipment, integrating standard solutions with client-specific requirements.</li> <li>Develop and manage component lists (BOM) for design activities.</li> <li>Prepare technical documentation for tenders and bids.</li> <li>Produce final project documentation in accordance with project requirements and standards.</li> <li>Ensure continuous coordination and alignment with other engineering disciplines, managing interfaces and integrated solutions.</li> <li>Define and communicate project safety standards and requirements.</li> <li>Promote reuse of existing solutions and best practices from previous projects.</li> <li>Design electrical schematics, including process and safety circuits.</li> <li>Develop cause–effect matrices (safety matrices) for the validation of safety functions at the customer site.</li> <li>Perform Performance Level (PL) calculations for safety-related systems.</li> <li>Support the documentation team in the preparation of user manuals and technical documentation generated during the design phase.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>YOUR PROFILE:</strong></p> <p> </p> <p><ul> <li>Degree or diploma in a technical field (Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation).</li> <li>Minimum of 3–4 years of relevant professional experience.</li> <li>Solid knowledge of European Directives and electrical standards (Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC; EN ISO 13849-1; EN ISO 60204-1; EN ISO 12100)</li> <li>Proficiency in EPLAN Electric P8 (version 2.8).</li> <li>Familiarity with SISTEMA tool for Performance Level (PL) calculations.</li> <li>Good command of English, both written and spoken (minimum B1 level).</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office package.</li> <li>Strong personal skills: dynamism, precision, and problem-solving attitude.</li> <li>Availability for short national business trips and occasional travel abroad (Europe)</li> <li>Knowledge of SAP for component list (BOM) management (nice to have).</li> <li>Knowledge of EPDM for document management (nice to have).</li> <li>Knowledge of AutoCAD for layout and technical drawings (nice to have).</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p></p> <p> </p> <p> </p><p><strong>Contact RecruiterTalent Acquisition: </strong>Mariele Lo Bianco<strong> </strong></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Interested?</strong><br>If so, please use our online application tool to send your application to AVL!</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>ABOUT AVL Italia S.p.A</strong></p> <p>AVL Italia<strong>,</strong> founded in 1980, provides the <strong>full portfolio of AVL technologies</strong> at the local level, offering customized solutions tailored to its customers.<br>With <strong>more than 40 years of experience </strong>and the support of a strong, highly qualified local team, AVL Italia is committed to making <strong>sustainable mobility </strong>a reality for everyone.
