This is an exciting opportunity to apply actuarial expertise to a broad range of financial analysis, pricing, technical work, and business-critical projects. You will use your insight to interpret complex data to provide high-quality recommendations to colleagues across the wider business, deliver timely reporting and to improve processes and controls. This role offers the chance to make a visible impact, work collaboratively with stakeholders, and help shape effective pricing and trading outcomes in a supportive and inclusive environment.</p> <p><br><strong>About the role</strong></p> <p>• Deliver high-quality actuarial analysis, modelling and reporting to support business and financial decision-making.<br>• Review and interpret complex data, applying sound judgement to produce clear insights and recommendations.<br>• Support the production of reports and documentation to agreed standards, timescales, and regulatory requirements.<br>• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and documentation to increase efficiency and reduce risk.<br>• Contribute to projects by providing actuarial expertise, constructive challenge, and clear progress updates.<br>• Collaborate with stakeholders across the department and wider business to explain findings in a clear, accessible way.</p> <p><br><strong>About you</strong></p> <p>• Qualified Actuary with strong technical knowledge and experience applying actuarial concepts in a commercial environment (pricing experience would be beneficial).<br>• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work confidently with complex data and models.<br>• Can communicate clearly and professionally, adapting your approach for different audiences across the business.<br>• Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and a focus on quality, governance, and controls.<br>• Enjoy improving processes and finding practical, innovative ways to enhance accuracy and efficiency.<br>• Work well both independently and collaboratively, building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.<br>• Developing and coaching other team members.</p> <p><br><strong>About Royal London</strong></p> <p>We’re the UK’s largest mutual life, pensions, and investment company, offering protection, long-term savings and asset management products and services. <br> <br>Our People Promise to our colleagues is that we will all work somewhere inclusive, responsible, enjoyable and fulfilling.
