Which is where you come in.</p> <p> </p><div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:14.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H5 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Your Key Accountabilities</b></H5> </div><div><ul> <li> <p>In line with global CSI(cloud and server infrastructure) team, based on China, to provide 5* 15 support in <strong>2 shifts</strong> on:</p> <ul> <li>Managing platform and system patching in line with Umicore security guideline.</li> <li>Automating and integrating operational tasks according to requirements.</li> <li>Monitoring server and system health status. Follow up the system alerts to close.</li> <li>Server services related user requests fulfillment. </li> </ul> <p><strong>Platform & System Patching</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage and execute server and platform patching in accordance with enterprise security and compliance guidelines, ensuring system stability and audit readiness</li> <li>Be familiar with patching processes for Windows Server, Linux (RHEL), and platforms such as <strong>AKS</strong>, including node patching and container redeployment</li> <li>Design, plan, execute, validate, and document patch activities across environments, including pre‑production testing and production rollout</li> <li>Coordinate and communicate patch schedules transparently with system and server owners, planning maintenance windows to minimize business impact</li> <li>Monitor patching status and progress, perform risk assessment and rollback planning, and collaborate with technical experts to resolve patching issues within agreed timeframes</li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>Automation & Operational Integration</strong></p> <ul> <li>Hands-on experience automating operational tasks using scripting, Infrastructure as Code, and pipeline tools, such as Ansible, Terraform, Bash, PowerShell, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Azure DevOps)</li> <li>Automate recurring operational activities, including patching preparation, validation, and compliance-related tasks</li> <li>Experience integrating automation into existing operational processes and tooling</li> <li>Strong mindset toward reducing manual work and improving operational efficiency</li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>Monitoring & Incident Follow-up</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience monitoring server and system health using enterprise monitoring tools</li> <li>Ensure alerts are properly followed up and closed, including troubleshooting, documentation, and escalation when required</li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>Server Services & User Requests</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience handling server and platform-related user requests, such as access requests, service changes, and standard operational requests</li> <li>Deliver requests within agreed SLAs while maintaining security and compliance standards</li> <li>Strong service-oriented mindset with clear communication skills</li> </ul> </li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:14.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H5 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Who we are looking for</b></H5> </div><div>for recruiting purposes only</div></div></div><p> </p> <p><strong>What we offer</strong></p> <p>We aim to lead the way.
