This role plays a critical part in supporting the organisation&apos;s growing compliance obligations driven by evolving legislative changes, managing high-volume transactional activities, and partnering closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate tax risks while preventing potential penalties and non-compliance issues. style="font-size:14.0pt"><strong>What you’ll be doing</strong></span></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li><strong>Drive tax compliance and reporting activities</strong> by preparing and submitting indirect tax returns, including Sales and Services Tax (SST), stamp duty filings under self-assessment, and other statutory submissions in accordance with regulatory requirements.</li> <li><strong>Support corporate income tax obligations</strong>, including the preparation of tax returns, provisional tax computations for internal reporting, and submission of tax estimates and revised estimates.</li> <li><strong>Manage withholding tax (WHT) compliance</strong> by identifying applicable transactions, performing tax computations, and ensuring timely reporting and submissions.</li> <li><strong>Prepare tax-related reports and documentation</strong> required by regulatory authorities such as Customs and the Inland Revenue Board.</li> <li><strong>Oversee e-invoicing processes</strong>, including reviewing and submitting self-billed e-invoices while ensuring ongoing compliance with e-invoicing regulations.</li> <li><strong>Review and validate transactions and invoices</strong> to ensure the correct tax treatment, accuracy of calculations, and adherence to applicable tax requirements.</li> <li><strong>Maintain complete documentation, reconciliations, and audit trails</strong> to support e-invoicing activities, tax filings, and statutory reporting.</li> <li><strong>Provide operational tax support</strong> by ensuring the correct application of SST across business transactions and managing tax treatment for specific transaction streams, including disposals and sales of materials.</li> <li><strong>Handle tax exemption and incentive matters</strong>, including preparing applications, declarations, and supporting documentation required by relevant authorities.</li> <li><strong>Partner closely with cross-functional teams</strong> such as Logistics, Procurement, Finance, and Legal to address tax implications of business activities and support operational requirements.</li> <li><strong>Provide practical tax guidance to internal stakeholders</strong> by clarifying compliance requirements and promoting tax awareness across the business.</li> <li><strong>Liaise with external stakeholders</strong>, including tax authorities and advisors, to manage submissions, resolve queries, and support tax-related matters.</li> <li><strong>Support tax risk management and governance efforts</strong> by monitoring compliance requirements, identifying potential issues, and ensuring adherence to internal controls and established procedures.</li> <li><strong>Assist with tax audits, reviews, and regulatory enquiries</strong> by preparing supporting information and coordinating responses with relevant stakeholders.</li> <li><strong>Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives</strong> by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy, supporting system enhancements, implementing new regulatory requirements, and strengthening tax processes and documentation.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span transactions</strong>.</li> <li>A <strong>proficient Microsoft Excel user</strong>, with experience handling large datasets, performing reconciliations, and supporting data analysis and
