As a User Experience Designer at Systematic, you will play a central role in developing SitaWare Insight, turning complex defence workflows into clear, intuitive experiences.</em></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>The role</strong><br>SitaWare Insight is Systematic’s AI-powered intelligence platform, helping military commanders to cut through vast volumes of data and act with greater speed and confidence. Working side by side with developers, you will focus on feature-oriented design work. You will be taking scoped features from early concept through to implementation-level detail to make sure the design intent carries through to the final product. The role is grounded in execution: the overall direction has been set and your skill and input lie in the details and implementation.</p> <p> </p> <p>In addition, some of your key tasks will be to:</p> <ul> <li>design experiences for agentic AI capabilities within SitaWare Insight, applying strong interaction design principles to genuinely complex problem spaces</li> <li>work within and actively contribute to the suite-wide design system and shared patterns bank maintained by the UX team</li> <li>facilitate concept creation sessions with internal stakeholders, helping to bridge the problem and solution space</li> <li>build the UX presence in Copenhagen independently while staying closely aligned with UX colleagues in Aarhus</li> <li>support developers at implementation level through high-fidelity prototyping, ensuring your designs are realised as intended</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Join the team</strong><br>You will join around 40 colleagues spread across approximately five teams in the SitaWare Insight programme. SitaWare Insight is a relatively new and actively growing product, which means your work will have a visible and direct impact on what it becomes. Defence UX comes with real complexity and interaction design principles are a core element in this field, as the decisions you make will have a direct bearing on people operating in high-stakes environments. As the Copenhagen team grows, so too will your opportunities to develop, taking on greater responsibility and enhancing your expertise in a domain where UX truly matters.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Your qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>A bachelor’s or master’s degree in UX design, interaction design or a related field</li> <li>Proven experience in a UX design role, backed by a portfolio that demonstrates interaction design work at implementation level</li> <li>Proficiency in Figma, including familiarity with AI-assisted design tools such as Figma Make</li> <li>Strong interaction design principles and a genuine eye for detail</li> <li>Confidence navigating stakeholder relationships in a complex, multi-team environment</li> <li>Fluency in English is required</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Please note </strong>that you must be able to present a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO and/or an EU country for the past seven years, as we work on security-classified projects.
