This position is ideal for an analytical professional with <strong>5–7 years of experience</strong> transforming complex data into actionable business insights. You will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and leadership to analyze data, develop reporting solutions, improve decision-making, and support strategic initiatives across the organization.</p> <p>This role requires a strong combination of data analysis, business intelligence, stakeholder engagement, and data visualization expertise.</p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> Toronto, ON (Hybrid – mandatory office presence)<br><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Full-Time</p> <hr> <h2>Key Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Collect, analyze, validate, and interpret large datasets from multiple sources.</li> <li>Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, KPIs, and scorecards using modern BI tools.</li> <li>Translate business requirements into meaningful analytical solutions and reporting frameworks.</li> <li>Perform data profiling, cleansing, validation, and quality assurance activities.</li> <li>Identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities through data-driven analysis.</li> <li>Create and maintain semantic models, datasets, and data dictionaries.</li> <li>Support business stakeholders with ad hoc analysis and data-driven recommendations.</li> <li>Partner with technical teams to improve data quality, governance, and reporting capabilities.</li> <li>Develop and automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.</li> <li>Present findings and actionable insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.</li> <li>Support data governance initiatives and ensure compliance with data management standards.</li> <li>Participate in Agile delivery teams and contribute to continuous process improvements.</li> </ul> <hr> <h2>Required Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.</li> <li><strong>5–7 years of experience</strong> in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, Reporting, or Analytics roles.</li> <li>Strong experience with: <ul> <li>SQL</li> <li>Power BI</li> <li>Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, Power Query)</li> <li>Data visualization and dashboard development</li> <li>Data modelling and KPI reporting</li> </ul> </li> <li>Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li> <li>Experience performing data quality assessments and validation activities.</li> <li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.</li> <li>Ability to communicate complex analytical findings in a clear and concise manner.</li> </ul> <hr> <h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>Experience working with Azure Data Platform, Databricks, or cloud-based analytics solutions.</li> <li>Knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation.</li> <li>Experience with Power Query (M), DAX, and semantic models.</li> <li>Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data transformation concepts.</li> <li>Experience operating in Agile/Scrum environments.</li> <li>Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and reporting best practices.</li> <li>Exposure to banking, financial services, insurance, public sector, or consulting environments.</li> </ul> <hr> <h2>Technical Skills</h2> <h3>Required</h3> <ul> <li>SQL</li> <li>Power BI</li> <li>DAX</li> <li>Power Query</li> <li>Excel (Advanced)</li> <li>Data Analysis & Reporting</li> <li>Dashboard Development</li> <li>KPI & Performance Measurement</li> <li>Data Validation & Quality Control</li> </ul> <h3>Nice to Have</h3> <ul> <li>Python</li> <li>Databricks</li> <li>Azure Data Services</li> <li>ServiceNow Reporting</li> <li>SharePoint</li> <li>Azure DevOps</li> <li>Git</li> </ul> <hr> <h2>Success Profile</h2> <p>The ideal candidate is:</p> <ul> <li>Highly analytical and detail-oriented.</li> <li>Comfortable working with large and complex datasets.</li> <li>Curious and proactive in identifying business opportunities through data.</li> <li>Skilled at balancing technical analysis with business context.</li> <li>Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.</li> <li>Passionate about delivering insights that drive measurable business outcomes.</li> </ul> <p>Salary Range : 75-90k/year </p> </div>
