<p>Finance is more than just numbers and balance sheets. It is a key partner to all other business areas, supporting them in planning, managing, and optimizing business processes. The department's main focus is on analyzing, evaluating, and presenting financial performance. A passion for finance and teamwork is at the forefront, offering excellent development opportunities.</p> <p><strong>You can look forward to these exciting tasks:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Prepare complex journal entries, provide technical guidance, and ensure compliance with IFRS and Group Accounting<br>policies.</li> <li>Coordinate and perform period-end and month-end closing activities in collaboration with local and global finance teams and in line with group closing calendar.</li> <li>Ensure timely and accurate completion of GL account reconciliations.</li> <li>Perform regular Balance Sheet Review, including trend / vs prior analysis and action plan definition.</li> <li>Prepare documentation and provide necessary financial data and support to external auditors during audits.</li> <li>Develop, maintain, and continuously improve desktop procedures and process documentation to ensure operational<br>consistency and compliance.</li> <li>Identify and contribute to the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>This is what you bring to us:</strong></p> <ul> <li>3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a shared service environment.</li> <li>College degree in Business Administration or equivalent accounting qualification.</li> <li>Proficient with SAP-FI.</li> <li>Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools (MS Outlook and Excel)</li> <li>Excellent English skills, one further European language is desirable.</li> <li>Ability to analyze daily situations considering the risk and available information, picturing the diverse scenarios, to adopt the best solution.</li> <li>Team player with a good sense of different company/ country cultures.</li> <li>Communication skills and cooperative mindset, and a high level of accountability and accuracy.</li> <li>Ability to respond to change with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new ways to accomplish work activities and objectives.</li> </ul><p>Applications from qualified individuals with disabilities are expressly welcome.</p> <p><b>Your contact person:</b><br> Rafael Rocha, People & Organization Lisboa, PT </p> <p>Get to know us <a href="https://www.webasto.com/en-int/career.html">here</a> and find out why we are passionate about attracting talent to Webasto.<br> We look forward to receiving your online application!</p>
