No <h2>Position Summary</h2> The position is responsible for leading and implementing pre-sales technical activities (detailed below) and tools to enable the Projects business. The position caters to the market/project needs, by interacting with influencers such as Architects, Consultants, other Intermediaries and Specifiers, through a structured education of codes, standards and product application prowess. The position also acts as a Subject Matter Expert for the Projects Business on matters relating to Architectural Hardware & innovative opening solutions, providing winning concepts, designs and Bill of Quantity (BOQ). <h2>Roles and Responsibilities:</h2> <ol> <li>Specification Development:</li> </ol> <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Develop and manage project specifications for construction, engineering, and design projects, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Select and recommend appropriate solutions including products, budgetary quotes, standards, etc. to the target audience</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Increase in the Specifications funnel made with complete range of products including mechanical, electromechanical, access control, automatics, glass, sliders etc. </li> <li style="text-align:justify">Ensure the submitted specifications are discussed and becomes part of the project tender for future sales generation.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Closely work and coordinate with the Sales team to ensure conversion of specifications into actual sales. </li> </ul> <ol start="2"> <li>Key accounts:</li> </ol> <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Manage and actively engage with key account of assigned architects and consultant, government departments in collaboration with channel and regional sales team.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Maintain excellent working relationships with consultants to identify new projects and provide accurate, precise and timely information to consultants/architects.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Conduct regular lunch & learn and training events with Architects and Design firms on designs and solutions to drive brand awareness.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Provide timely support for specification on upcoming and existing projects.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Promote the adoption and use of the ASSA ABLOY Openings Studio plugin for 3D door and hardware virtual libraries, specifications, and transfer of project information.</li> </ul> <ol start="3"> <li style="text-align:justify">Documentation and Reporting:</li> </ol> <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Ensure that all specification documents and enquiries are maintained, updated, and archived appropriately in Openings Studio and Microsoft CRM.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Provide regular updates to senior management about the team's progress, challenges, and successes.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Gather market intelligence and competition update; provide requisite feedback to the management</li> </ul> <ol start="4"> <li style="text-align:justify">Stakeholder Communication:</li> </ol> <ul style="margin-bottom:11.0px"> <li style="text-align:justify">Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding product or project specifications.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Present and explain specifications to clients or stakeholders as necessary.</li> </ul> Skills Required: <ul style="margin-bottom:11.0px"> <li>Strong customer focus</li> <li>Good analytical skills</li> <li>Strong drive to deliver high growth</li> <li>Good relationship building and communication skills</li> <li>Good knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint </li> <li>Ability to make effective conversations with project owners/architects/Project Management Consultants</li> <li>Ability to learn industry-specific software such as AAOS etc.</li> <li>Functional understanding of project business in the building materials industry</li> </ul> Education Qualification & Experience required: <ul style="margin-bottom:11.0px"> <li>Engineering Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical stream or related discipline </li> <li>Familiarity with REVIT or CAD programs</li> <li>Relevant experience of 1 – 3 years with the similar industry </li> </ul> Additional Information: <ul style="margin-bottom:11.0px"> <li>Should be willing to Travel excessively in assigned territory </li> </ul> Note: This job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities.
