This role ensures that AI initiatives are technically feasible, secure, scalable, and aligned with business value while adhering to the company’s AI governance and architectural standards. The focus is on applying AI to real business problems; the AI Architect therefore combines a broad understanding of AI technologies with strong enterprise architecture thinking and business acumen.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Key Responsibilities</span></strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><strong>AI solution & architecture design:</strong> translate business needs into robust AI solution architectures; design end-to-end AI solutions including data flows, integrations, platform components, and operational requirements; select appropriate models, frameworks, and cloud services.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><strong>Support early-phase use case exploration:</strong> participate in pre-studies to advise on opportunities and constraints with AI; assess technical feasibility, data needs, and risks; lead PoC design and evaluation.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><strong>Collaborate with internal development teams & group-wide AI program:</strong> align solutions with group-wide AI platforms and capabilities; provide architectural guidance during PoC and early implementations.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><strong>Vendor technology assessment & orchestration:</strong> evaluate AI vendors, platforms, and tools; review vendor architectures and integration patterns; ensure vendor solutions comply with internal standards.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><strong>Governance, compliance & responsible AI:</strong> ensure AI designs adhere to governance, privacy, and security policies; support documentation for risk assessments and approvals.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><strong>Enable reusability, standards & best practices:</strong> develop AI architectural guidelines and reusable reference patterns; promote consistency across business units.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><strong>Technology horizon scanning & thought leadership:</strong> monitor industry trends and emerging AI capabilities; advise leadership on relevant opportunities and risks.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Qualifications</span></strong></p> <p><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><strong>Must Have:</strong></span></p> <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Experience as a Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, AI Architect, or similar.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Broad understanding of AI concepts such as generative AI, Agentic AI, RAG, orchestration frameworks, and vector databases.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Solid understanding of cloud architecture (Azure, AWS, or similar).</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Experience designing data-intensive or integration-based solutions.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Ability to bridge business and technical perspectives.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><strong>Nice to Have:</strong></span></p> <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Experience from applying AI in commercial offerings.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Experience from Robotic Process Automation.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Knowledge of MLOps/AIOps principles.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Experience working with global enterprise environments.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Personal Characteristics</span></strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Strong communicator able to simplify complex technology.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Pragmatic and value-driven.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Collaborative, comfortable leading activities in cross-functional settings and getting things done.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Curious, adaptive, and able to operate in ambiguous environments.</span></li> </ul><p> </p> <p><strong>We are the ASSA ABLOY Group</strong><br>Our people have made us the global leader in access solutions.
