Landis+Gyr -<strong> Intelligent Energy, Delivered.!</strong></span></p> <p> </p><p>For our Finance department at the company headquarters in Cham, near Zurich, we are looking for a highly motivated and precise <strong>Head of Consolidation and Accounting</strong>. In this challenging and rewarding role you will report directly to the VP Group Accounting & Controlling.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Your main responsibilities will among others include:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead and coordinate the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and consolidation process for all legal entities of the Company.</li> <li>Ensure accurate and complete financial reporting and high-quality management information.</li> <li>Maintain and improve the Company’s accounting and reporting framework to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal governance requirements.</li> <li>Supervise the preparation of statutory and consolidated financial statements and ensure all financial information is accurate and delivered within deadlines.</li> <li>Oversee intercompany reconciliation and ensure alignment of reporting across entities.</li> <li>Act as key contact for external auditors and ensure a smooth and efficient audit process. Provide accounting guidance and advice to the finance teams and management on complex transactions and reporting issues.</li> <li>Develop and maintain accounting policies, process documentation, and internal controls. Support the CFO in financial reporting to management and shareholders, including analysis of financial results.</li> <li>Drive continuous improvement, automation, and simplification of accounting and reporting processes.</li> <li>Lead, coach, and develop the accounting and consolidation team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>This position requires the following skills & experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or Swiss Certified Accountant is an advantage.</li> <li>Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting, consolidation, and reporting within an international or multi-entity environment.</li> <li>Expertise with ERP and consolidation tools, especially in IBM Cognos.</li> <li>Technical knowledge in accounting, consolidation, and financial reporting.</li> <li>Proven experience in preparing consolidated financial statements and coordinating audits.</li> <li>Strong understanding of accounting frameworks, in particular US GAAP/ IFRS and reporting processes.</li> <li>Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, concise information for management.</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across multiple levels of the organization.</li> <li>Analytical and structured mindset combined with a hands-on approach.</li> <li>Leadership capability to guide and motivate a small, high-performing team.</li> <li>Fluent in English; German language skills beneficial. <span style="color:white">#LI-PR1 #LI-Hybrid</span> </li> </ul><p> </p> <p><span>We're committed to shaping a better future for everyone.<strong> #EnergizeYourCareer</strong> and join us on our journey towards a greener tomorrow.</span></p>
