Our<strong> record USD 4.6 billion order backlog</strong> and strong book-to-bill ratio reflect long-term confidence in our mission and solutions.</p> <p>Join us at Landis+Gyr,<strong> where we manage energy better!</strong> </p><p><strong>Key Purpose of Role: </strong></p> <p>The role requires testing in a fast-paced, time-sensitive project, switching between tasks, and following the work plan to meet project milestones. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Areas of Responsibility / Tasks:</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Skills required from automation developer</p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li>Good - Robot Framework & Python</li> <li>Good - SQL database</li> <li>Selenium</li> </ul> </li> <li>To develop and execute test plans using technical requirements and design specifications as input.</li> <li>To write test cases and execute them.</li> <li>To analyse test results, perform data validation, track defects and provide regular status updates.</li> <li>To analyse, troubleshoot and execute testing activities in Unix/Windows environment. Should be hands-on on Unix/Windows-related systems and be able to dig into logs to troubleshoot.</li> <li>Writing and executing medium-level to complex-level SQL queries.</li> <li>To use different techniques while performing testing tasks related to the database, backend processes and front-end applications.</li> <li>Well-versed with automation frameworks and hands-on with automation programming like Java, Python, and Selenium.</li> <li>Documentation of installation instructions and providing technical support are also required.</li> <li>Defect documentation</li> <li>Defect Verification</li> <li>To work on Scrum methodologies</li> <li>To identify the quality KPI’s and ensure compliance at each stage.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Functional Competencies</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Methodologies, Technologies, Professional Knowledge </li> <li>Testing methodologies</li> <li>Software Testing experience with Web, GUI, Database and Client/Server applications on multiple platforms</li> <li>Experience with relational database (Preferably Oracle)</li> <li>Experience with testing Java/.Net based applications</li> <li>Experience with Unix/Windows</li> <li>Network, RF And Hardware Device Knowledge</li> <li>Experience using Defect management, Source Code Management, and Requirement Management tools</li> <li>(TFS/ADO/JIRA, Others...)</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Behavioral Competencies</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communications skills</li> <li>Highly driven, positive attitude, team player, self-learning, self-motivating and flexibility</li> <li>Strong customer focus</li> <li>Flair for creativity and innovation</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Qualifications and Additional Requirements</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Relevant tertiary qualification - B.
