The Role As a member of the Estates Delivery discipline within UK Defence Operations, the Property Operations Site Lead role will provide support and leadership to effectively ensure safe and compliant maintenance for Property Operations assets. To manage delivery to ensure that the site is maintained, statutory compliant and operational for core business activities. Your responsibilities will include: <ul> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">To keep good foresight and avoid any potential impacts that Property Operations activities may have on the delivery of QQ business, capability or site tenants, including planning/liaising and communicating with all stakeholders</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">To deliver of a proactive, trained and engaged team. Minimise reliance on subcontractor framework and support continuous change management within Estates function</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">To ensure effective management with key stakeholders and internal departments such as HSE, tenants, QQ operational functions and MoD where applicable</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">To identify and lead on any continuous improvement activities for the site and therefore challenge current delivery working model and services to deliver innovation</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">To lead on distinct elements as set out by the GL - Property Operations Group Leader e.g. Internal and external audits (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 50001), Risk Register and audit actions and ensure that all health, safety and quality procedures including contractor control and management reporting is delivered on site </li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">To report on operational delivery on a month-by-month basis and identifying areas for improvement to their respective Group Leader</li> </ul> Essential experience of the Property Operations Site Lead: <ul> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Proven experience of previously leading a team in a facilities or site management environment</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Sound understanding of health, safety, environmental & security requirements for activities, operations & sites</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Ability to influence and challenge key stakeholders at various levels across the organisation</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Strong interpersonal skills and can effectively collaborate with others and can demonstrate examples of promoting teamwork and collaboration across national and multinational teams</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Can advocate for best practice and is able to provide and deliver solutions for continuous improvement. </li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Strong attention to detail and can analyse data and solve complex problems to ensure risks are minimised and the continuation of services delivered</li> </ul> We value difference and we don’t have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you.
