Day‑to‑day, you’ll deliver planned, preventive and corrective maintenance on a range of electrical plant and equipment, provide specialist technical support, ensure maintenance standards are met, and contribute to the smooth running of facilities across the region. <h3>Your responsibilities will include:</h3> <ul> <li style="font-size:14.0pt">Providing maintenance support across site services, electrical plant, equipment and buildings</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt">Delivering specialist technical maintenance on electrical systems including building wiring</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt">Prioritising workloads to meet business needs</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt">Ensuring robust application of health, safety and environmental processes</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt">Participating in the on‑call rota within the Maintenance Team</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt">Monitoring contractor activity and performance</li> </ul> Essential experience of the Mobile Electrical Engineer: <ul> <li style="font-size:14.0pt">Experience delivering maintenance on electrical equipment or systems </li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt">Ability to operate across multiple sites and manage varied workloads</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt">Strong understanding of electrical regulations, standards and technical requirements</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt">Experience working both independently and within a team</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt">Ability to troubleshoot, solve problems and make sound decisions</li> </ul> Essential qualifications for the Mobile Electrical Engineer: <ul> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:14.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Electrical Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Maintenance </li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:14.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Understanding of the latest edition of IEE Wiring Regulations </li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:14.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Full clean driving licence </li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:14.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">AP/LV (Authorised Person – Low Voltage), JSP (Joint Service Publications) or CompEx (Competency in Explosive Atmospheres) qualifications/experience preferred; however, full training and funding will be provided for candidates who do not currently hold these</li> </ul> We value difference and we don’t have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you.
