The Role As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of one or more high value complex projects within the UK Defence arm of QinetiQ and more specifically the Land & Weapons division. Day-to-day, you’ll develop and maintain positive engagement with project customers and partners while delivering against project outputs to agreed baseline targets such as Customer satisfaction, time, cost, quality, cash and sales. This role is 37 hours per week based at our Fort Halstead or Shoeburyness site with a minimum average site attendance of three days per week. Shoeburyness QinetiQ Shoeburyness is a significant test and evaluation facility specialising in defence and security technologies. The site is focused on Environmental Testing including the evaluation of various ordnance, explosives and related systems. Implementing measures to ensure that testing activities comply with environmental regulations and minimise ecological impact. OR Fort Halstead Our facilities at Fort Halstead, located in Kent, focus on a wide range of defence-related research, particularly weapons systems and military technology. Modern laboratories enable engineers and scientists to conduct high-tech research in material science, systems engineering, and advanced simulation techniques. Successful applicants will need to be able to obtain security clearance for this role.
