The Role As a Senior Cloud Engineer you will be providing technical leadership within Cloud Engineering projects and programmes working at the forefront of enabling secure, scalable and mission-critical cloud capabilities. Day-to-day, you will work closely with project managers and supporting the development winning proposals and the delivering cloud solutions. Your responsibilities will include: <ul> <li style="line-height:normal;background-color:white;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Leading project teams to deliver solutions managing and guiding junior staff to deliver solutions for new and existing customers</li> <li style="line-height:normal;background-color:white;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Providing technical leadership for the delivery of programme, project and bidding activities</li> <li style="line-height:normal;background-color:white;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Supporting the development of cloud staff in their technical disciplines and supporting resourcing decisions</li> <li style="line-height:normal;background-color:white;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Developing design certifications, technical delivery plans, high level documentation, detailed design documentation and testing schedules</li> <li style="line-height:normal;background-color:white;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Understanding marketing requirements and future technology developments applying them to technical solutions</li> <li style="line-height:normal;background-color:white;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Performing complex engineering/technical assignments developing creative and practical solutions to customer problems</li> </ul> Essential experience of the Senior Cloud Engineer: <ul> <li style="line-height:normal;background-color:white;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Previous experience as a Cloud Engineer with a strong knowledge of AWS cloud services</li> <li style="line-height:normal;background-color:white;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">The ability to develop and manage infrastructure as code (Terraform)</li> <li style="line-height:normal;background-color:white;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Proven experience leading, mentoring or managing technical delivery teams</li> <li style="line-height:normal;background-color:white;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">The ability to engage with senior stakeholders and communicating with non-technical audiences</li> <li style="line-height:normal;background-color:white;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Previous experience working within Agile Delivery environments</li> <li style="line-height:normal;background-color:white;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Proven experience delivering cloud projects end-to-end</li> </ul> Essential qualifications for the Senior Cloud Engineer: We value difference and we don’t have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you.
