<div> </div> <div> <p>Hanover, Germany | Hybrid</p> </div> <div> <p> </p> </div> <div> <p>As a <strong>Senior Qualification Engineer</strong>, you will ensure that our consumer products (headphones, soundbars, etc.) meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance before they enter mass production. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify risks early, define test strategies, and validate product and process readiness.</p> </div> <div> <p> </p> </div> <div> <p><strong>Your responsibilities</strong></p> <p> </p> </div> <div> <ul type="disc"> <li>Define and execute qualification strategies across the full product development lifecycle</li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul type="disc"> <li>Develop and implement quality and validation plans for new products and variants</li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul type="disc"> <li>Identify risks and failure modes, and drive mitigation through design and process improvements</li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul type="disc"> <li>Lead and participate in FMEA and root cause analysis </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul type="disc"> <li>Coordinate product and process qualification, including supplier and manufacturing validation</li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul type="disc"> <li>Work with external labs and internal teams to design and perform test concepts (incl. accelerated testing)</li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul type="disc"> <li>Analyze test results, prototype performance, and field feedback to ensure product reliability</li> </ul> </div> <div> <p> </p> </div> <div> <p><strong>Your profile</strong></p> <p> </p> </div> <div> <ul type="disc"> <li>5+ years of experience in product qualification / design quality (ideally consumer electronics or acoustics)</li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul type="disc"> <li>Strong understanding of product validation, risk analysis, and reliability testing</li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul type="disc"> <li>Degree in Electronics, Electromechanics, or a related field</li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul type="disc"> <li>Ability to translate product concepts into effective test strategies</li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul type="disc"> <li>Fluent in English AND German </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul type="disc"> <li>Experience with FMEA, statistical methods, and quality tools (e.g. Minitab, Six Sigma is a plus)</li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul type="disc"> <li>Independent, structured, and solution-oriented mindset</li> </ul> </div> <div> <p> </p> </div> <div> <p><strong>What we offer</strong></p> <p> </p> </div> <p>As part of Sonova Consumer Hearing, we’re committed to building an inclusive culture.
