About this role
<p>Hannover | Hybrid</p> <p> </p> <p>As an <strong>Audio DSP Engineer</strong>, you’ll be part of a multidisciplinary R&D team working at the intersection of acoustics, embedded systems, and signal processing. You’ll contribute to the full product lifecycle - from concept and prototyping to integration and optimization - helping deliver outstanding audio performance.</p> <p>You will work on different embedded platforms(Bluetooth system-on-chip as well as DSP cores), combining in-house development with the evaluation and integration of third-party solutions.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>What you’ll do</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Develop, simulate, and implement audio DSP algorithms for embedded systems (i.e. headphones and audio devices)</li> <li>Design and integrate audio processing solutions, ensuring performance, quality, and manufacturability</li> <li>Tune systems based on measurements and customer requirements</li> <li>Define system requirements, interfaces, and quality criteria</li> <li>Actively scout and prototype new concepts and support feasibility studies</li> <li>Troubleshoot audio-related issues and continuously optimize system performance</li> <li>Collaborate with external suppliers and internal stakeholders</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Your profile</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Degree in Electrical Engineering, Acoustics, Signal Processing, or similar</li> <li>Hands on experience in embedded audio DSP development (consumer or professional audio).</li> <li>Strong programming skills in C/C++ , MATLAB and Python</li> <li>Solid understanding of audio systems (e.g., microphones, headphones, loudspeakers)</li> <li>Experience with measurement, tuning, and debugging of audio systems</li> <li>Fluent in English (German is a plus)</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>As part of Sonova Consumer Hearing, we’re committed to building an inclusive culture.
