<div class="rmk-main-content"> <p class="rmk-introduction"><p>Liebherr-Canada Ltd. is seeking a skilled Workshop Service Technician to join our team and support the maintenance, diagnosis, repair, and commissioning of our industry-leading construction equipment. Working in a modern shop environment, you will be responsible for ensuring Liebherr machinery operates safely, efficiently, and to the highest performance standards.</p> <p>In this role, you will troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, engine, and drivetrain systems on a variety of large construction equipment. You will perform scheduled maintenance, component overhauls, pre-delivery inspections, warranty upgrades, and new and used equipment preparation while maintaining accurate service documentation. The ideal candidate is a safety-conscious technician with strong diagnostic skills, a commitment to quality workmanship, and a passion for working on advanced heavy equipment technology.</p></p> <h2 class="rmk-responsibilites-header">Responsibilities</h2> <div class="rmk-resposibilities-content"><ul> <li>Troubleshoot, inspect and diagnose Liebherr machinery and components including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, engines, gearbox/drive train, etc. to resolve moderate to complex problems</li> <li>Perform new and used machinery preparation, scheduled maintenance, repair or overhaul usually requiring component replacement, commissioning and adjustment of mechanical/hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic equipment, including warranty upgrades</li> <li>Recondition and repair equipment components and systems as assigned</li> <li>Perform pre-delivery inspections of equipment and new & used equipment preparation</li> <li>Occasionally perform servicing on Liebherr machinery as directed, including fluid checks, and sample pulling, oil and filter checks, changing lubricants, replacing filters, greasing machine lube points etc.</li> <li>Ensure components, material and/or equipment is inspected, is corrected to specifications and ensure timely delivery programs are achieved</li> <li>Ensure all final verifications specified in work instructions, scope of work, verbal communication and specifications are carried out and complete</li> <li>Accurate and timely submission of reports and technical document including service reports</li> <li>Operate and maintain tools, equipment and work areas in accordance with company policy</li> <li>Other duties as assigned. </li> </ul></div> <h2 class="rmk-qualification-header">Competencies</h2> <div class="rmk-qualification-content"><ul> <li>Minimum 4 years of maintenance, repair and diagnostic experience of heavy equipment</li> <li>Provincial 421A license required or Red Seal for off-road equipment.</li> <li>Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical components</li> <li>Demonstrated diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, component exchange, repair and warranty related activities</li> <li>Ability to read and understand schematics and technical drawings</li> <li>You are able to effectively communicate detailed and complex information in a clear and concise manner</li> <li>You are self-motivated with the ability to work alone, unsupervised for extended periods of time</li> <li>Fully proficient with computers and Microsoft Office suite</li> </ul></div> <h2 class="rmk-our-offer-header">Our Offer</h2> <div class="rmk-our-offer-content"><ul> <li>Competitive wages with overtime opportunities available</li> <li>Extensive benefits with employer paid premiums starting day 1</li> <li>$5000 annual License Bonus*</li> <li>Paid vacation starting at 3 weeks PLUS 6 dedicated family, health and wellness days</li> <li>6% employer RRSP matching</li> <li>$3000 annual allowance for continuing education</li> <li>$1000 annual Tool allowance & $600 Annual Boot allowance for Liebherr Technicians</li> <li>$400 Prescription Safety Glasses allowance</li> <li>International training & development work opportunities for select roles</li> <li>Top of the line equipment</li> <li>And much more!</li> </ul> <p>Liebherr Canada Ltd. is committed to provide a diverse, inclusive, safe and dignified work environment for all employees, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or any other aspect of their identity.</p> <p>Please note the following:</p> <ul> <li>We do not use AI to screen resumes.
