<div class="rmk-main-content"> <p class="rmk-introduction"><p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">For our team Connected Systems, we are looking for a Senior Embedded Linux Software Engineer - Connected Systems (m/f/d) at our location in Ulm. </span></p></p> <h2 class="rmk-responsibilites-header">Your responsibilities</h2> <div class="rmk-resposibilities-content"><ul> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Develop Linux based machine platform and application software architectures from the first idea to series production and operation</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Contribute to our global machine control and connectivity platform</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Design and implement embedded machine application and connectivity software components</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Integrate and contribute to modern Open Source components and projects</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Design, implement and enforce high-class security concepts in machine control and telematic products</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Integrate and adapt the latest software technologies and methodologies</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Support system integration and test in an agile team by close cooperation with internal & external developers, testers and product owners</span></li> </ul></div> <h2 class="rmk-qualification-header">Your qualifications</h2> <div class="rmk-qualification-content"><ul> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">B.Sc. / M.Sc. Computer Science, Communications / Electronic Engineering or comparable </span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Strong experience in Rust and/or C/C++</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Expert knowledge in building embedded Linux systems (Yocto, U-Boot etc.)</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">End to End understanding of complex IoT systems (device & backend interfaces) is a plus</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Practical experience in continuous delivery and agile methods</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Experience with functional safety concepts is a plus</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Knowledge of the latest software architecture principles and practices in embedded software</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Ability to speak, understand and write English fluently</span></li> </ul></div> <h2 class="rmk-our-offer-header">Our offer</h2> <div class="rmk-our-offer-content"><p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">A challenging and interesting range of activities awaits you at Liebherr in an internationally successful Group.
