under-coating or over-spray.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Apply intermediate coats as specified in the paint system (e.g., epoxy, zincrich, polyamide-based primers).</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Allow proper flash-off and curing time between coats. </li> </ul> Top Coat Application <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Apply final topcoat (e.g., polyurethane, alkyd, or epoxy finish) with correct technique (HVLP, Airless spray) ensuring even finish, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Rework based on inspection reports while ensuring blending with original coating. </li> </ul> Equipment & Tool Handling <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Operate spray painting equipment (conventional, airless, or electrostatic). </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Clean and maintain spray guns, hoses, compressors, and filters. </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Calibrate DFT meters and mixing scales as per schedule </li> </ul> Documentation & Traceability <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Maintain detailed paint records including batch numbers, paint codes, operator ID, area covered, and environmental conditions. </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Complete paint inspection reports, ERP entries, and rework records as required. </li> </ul> Workplace & 5S Maintenance <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Maintain organized and safe workplace per 5S and TPM principles. </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Ensure disposal of waste materials (rags, paint tins, thinner) in line with environmental norms.</li> </ul> Communication & Teamwork <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Communicate issues such as improper surface condition, missing job cards, equipment malfunction, or paint mismatch to supervisor. </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Collaborate with fabrication, quality, and logistics teams for paint priorities and sequencing. </li> style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Minimum Qualification- ITI in Painter Trade or Diploma in Surface Coating Technology / Industrial Painting </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Additional Training- In-plant training or certification in spray painting methods preferred </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Certifications (Preferred)- NACE Level 1 / FROSIO Level 1 / Equivalent corrosion protection certifications (desirable) </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Reading & Comprehension- Ability to understand and follow work instructions, safety signs, and paint specifications in English/Hindi/local language </li> </ul> Experience: <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Industry Background- 2–5 years in industrial painting in heavy machinery, automotive, structural steel, or similar sectors </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Application Process- Hands-on experience in airless or HVLP spray painting, shot blasting, masking, and DFT checks </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Coating System Exposure- Familiarity with epoxy, PU, alkyd, zinc-rich, and water-based paint systems </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Quality Involvement- Experience with in-process paint
