We are looking for a motivated <strong>Global SAP MDG Solution Architect</strong> (m/f/d) specialized in Business Partner Master Data, and in Material Master Data. In this role, you will contribute to shaping the future of our enterprise master data governance across multiple companies and divisions. You will lead the architecture, design, and implementation of our SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions, ensuring consistency, data quality, and harmonization across the global landscape.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="">You will be part of an international, cross-functional team that values innovation, methodology, and long-term thinking, making a direct impact on the way Liebherr manages and leverages data worldwide.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="">The working location for this position will be in Madrid city where we are currently setting up a new office. We operate a hybrid model, requiring at least 40% of the working time on-site. </span></p></p> <h2 class="rmk-responsibilites-header">Creating passion: your responsibilities</h2> <div class="rmk-resposibilities-content"><ul> <li><span style="">Own the end-to-end MDG solution design and architecture for Business Partner and Material Master, ensuring alignment with Liebherr’s global data model and SAP S/4HANA template.</span></li> <li><span style="">Lead and coordinate global MDG deployments across multiple entities, promoting process harmonization and master data standardization.</span></li> <li><span style="">Define and enforce data governance frameworks, data quality rules, and stewardship processes in collaboration with the Center of Data Excellence.</span></li> <li><span style="">Design and support integrations between SAP MDG, S/4HANA, and satellite systems (CRM, EWM, PLM, legacy systems), ensuring accurate data synchronization and distribution.</span></li> <li><span style="">Collaborate with development teams to define and manage WRICEF objects, data migration strategies, and change requests related to master data.</span></li> <li><span style="">Provide guidance across all project phases: blueprint, realization, testing, cutover, go-live, and post go-live support.</span></li> <li><span style="">Support release and change management processes, ensuring stable and compliant deployments of MDG enhancements.</span></li> <li><span style="">Act as a trusted advisor for MDG topics within the global S/4HANA transformation, mentoring internal teams and sharing best practices.</span></li> <li><span style="">Ensure all the solution designs and decisions are documented using JIRA and Confluence (or similar tools).</span></li> <li><span style="">Travel (up to 30%) to Liebherr sites worldwide to engage directly with business teams and support global rollouts.</span></li> </ul></div> <h2 class="rmk-qualification-header">Contributing your strengths: your qualifications</h2> <div class="rmk-qualification-content"><ul> <li><span style="">5-7 years of SAP experience, including at least 3+ years of SAP MDG (on S/4HANA) with hands-on design and deployment experience.</span></li> <li><span style="">Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, or related field.</span></li> <li><span style="">Proven expertise covering both Business Partner and Material Master domains (including customer, vendor, and product data harmonization; alignment with the S/4HANA Business Partner model; and integration with logistics, procurement, finance, service, and PLM processes).</span></li> <li><span style="">Strong understanding of data modeling, derivation rules, validations, duplicate checks, change request workflows, SAP BRF+ knowledge; and consolidation/mass processing in MDG.</span></li> <li><span style="">Experience designing integration scenarios using SOA, ALE/IDocs, RFC, OData, and API-based connectivity.</span></li> <li><span style="">Familiarity with SAP BTP-based extensions, data quality tools (Information Steward, Data Services), and SAP Data Intelligence is a plus.</span></li> <li><span style="">Demonstrated ability to balance data governance and operational agility, aligning design with business value.</span></li> <li><span style="">Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts clearly to both IT and business audiences.</span></li> <li><span style="">Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, and other agile delivery tools.</span></li> <li><span style="">Fluent in English (written and spoken); German or other languages are an advantage.</span></li> <li><span style="">SAP MDG certification or equivalent credentials are a strong plus.</span></li> </ul></div> <h2 class="rmk-our-offer-header">Our commitment to you: your benefits</h2> <div class="rmk-our-offer-content"><p><span style="">At Liebherr, we believe people are at the heart of our success.
