We are looking for a motivated SAP Basis Consultant (m/f/d) to play a key role in our newly established SAP Center in Madrid. In this role, you will contribute to our global SAP S/4HANA transformation program and coordinate the installation, configuration, administration, and ongoing operation of SAP systems ensuring the correct alignment with Liebherr’s global standards. You will be responsible for the system’s availability, performance, security, and scalability across SAP landscapes (Development, Test, Quality, Production), supporting both ongoing programs as well as business as usual operations. You will be part of an international, cross-functional environment that values collaboration, methodology, and long-term thinking, making a direct impact on how Liebherr operates globally. <h2 class="rmk-responsibilites-header">Creating passion: your responsibilities</h2> <div class="rmk-resposibilities-content"><ul> <li>Operate and manage SAP systems within a RISE with SAP model, ensuring high availability and stability across all environments (Development, Test, Quality and Production).</li> <li>Act as the technical interface with between SAP RISE service teams, and external implementation partners, ensuring effective coordination and issue resolution.</li> <li>Monitor system health, performance, and capacity in line with agreed SLAs, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.</li> <li>Coordinate and support system maintenance activities, including upgrades, patches, and support package implementations.</li> <li>Manage SAP transport and support release, deployment, and cutover activities in alignment with change and release management standards.</li> <li>Support system level security, authorizations, and compliance requirements in collaboration with security teams.</li> <li>Support the technical operation of SAP MDG, including hub architecture configuration, workflow transport management, and integration with S/4HANA and downstream systems.</li> <li>Support SAP EWM technical operations, including system connectivity, qRFC/IDoc monitoring, batch job management, and Fiori related configurations.</li> <li>Support the creation and maintenance of technical documentation using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.</li> <li>Travel (up to 30%) to Liebherr sites worldwide to engage directly with business teams and support deployments. </li> </ul></div> <h2 class="rmk-qualification-header">Contributing your strengths: your qualifications</h2> <div class="rmk-qualification-content"><ul> <li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, or related discipline.</li> <li>5+ years of professional experience in SAP Basis administration, ideally in S/4HANA environments.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with RISE with SAP (Private Cloud Edition) or managed SAP cloud environments.</li> <li>Strong understanding of SAP technical operations, monitoring, and lifecycle management processes.</li> <li>Experience working with SAP support organizations, incident management processes, and external service providers.</li> <li>Knowledge of SAP HANA fundamentals and SAP transport management (STMS, CTS / ChaRM is a plus).</li> <li>Familiarity with SAP Integration Suite (CPI) and RFC/API communication management is a plus.</li> <li>Basic understanding of SAP MDG hub architecture and SAP EWM technical landscape is a plus.</li> <li>Experience with SAP Cloud ALM (CALM) for system monitoring, change management, and operations is highly desired.</li> <li>Structured, reliable, and service-oriented working style.</li> <li>A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in multicultural and cross-functional teams.</li> <li>Willingness to travel internationally (up to 30%) as required by project work.</li> <li>SAP certifications (Basis, S/4HANA, HANA, or RISE) are a plus.</li> </ul></div> <h2 class="rmk-our-offer-header">Our commitment to you: your benefits</h2> <div class="rmk-our-offer-content">At Liebherr, we believe people are at the heart of our success.
