Job Overview The Engineer, QA Testing is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of hardware and software products that support medical device connectivity. This role designs, develops, and executes comprehensive test strategies—including manual and automated testing—to validate system functionality across web, Windows, and device-integrated platforms. The engineer identifies, documents, and tracks defects using tools such as Microsoft DevOps, supports developers with unit and integration testing, and contributes to test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium). Working across Linux and Windows environments, the position plays a key role in system integration troubleshooting, validation documentation, and regulatory compliance through protocol development and SOP authoring. The role partners closely with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements, participate in product design reviews, and ensure successful execution of integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing across multiple releases. This position requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, experience in healthcare IT or medical device environments (including hardware testing and device connectivity such as Talis Hub), and the ability to communicate effectively while applying critical thinking and continuous quality improvement practices.
