Job Overview The Sr. Analyst Sales Reporting is responsible for supporting sales and senior management teams by providing sales analytics and business insights as well as providing recommendations for streamlining sales operations processes. This position requires experience in building comprehensive reports and dashboards that ensure reporting accuracy and facilitate business decisions. Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties <ul style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:1.0 E-4pt"> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 1.0 E-4pt 0.0px">Partner with Sales Management and IT to understand business needs in order to identify, develop, and implement enhancements to reporting and analytical deliverables</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 1.0 E-4pt 0.0px">Partner with Sales management to develop KPIs and Dashboards to drive decision making.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 1.0 E-4pt 0.0px">Create sales reporting tools in Salesforce, Power BI and other systems, and provide end user training and support to the sales team.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 1.0 E-4pt 0.0px">Design and create tools to track and report on monthly forecast and provide win/loss and other funnel/pipeline analytics.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 1.0 E-4pt 0.0px">Design, develop, maintain, and enhance reporting models to facilitate sales reporting processes.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 1.0 E-4pt 0.0px">Manage monthly sales reporting process: extract sales data, tracings, adjustments, and validate for accuracy.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 1.0 E-4pt 0.0px">Partner with department manager to develop Quotas for the Field Sales team.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 1.0 E-4pt 0.0px">Produce and validate the President’s Circle report for assigned divisional field team, for monthly rankings and annual award determinations.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 1.0 E-4pt 0.0px">Audit continuously all systems (Database, SAP, Cognos, Salesforce, Power BI) to ensure consistency in data.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 1.0 E-4pt 0.0px">Manage field inquiries regarding performance, historical sales trends, account/product level detail, etc.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 1.0 E-4pt 0.0px">Perform root cause analysis and make necessary corrections.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 1.0 E-4pt 0.0px">Serve as a liaison between Sales Management and the Power BI team to develop and trouble shoot reports.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 1.0 E-4pt 0.0px">Partner with marketing managers and use system knowledge to design various spiff programs.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 1.0 E-4pt 0.0px">Support and guide sales managers with margin analysis on quotes.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 1.0 E-4pt 0.0px">Assist Jr. Analysts with designing reports and extracting data. Act as backup as needed.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 1.0 E-4pt 0.0px">Develop productive relationships with various functions including: field based employees, Sales Management, and internal departments such as Finance, Sales Compensation, Marketing, and Service.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 1.0 E-4pt 0.0px">Provide Ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed.</li> </ul> Minimum Requirements <ul style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:1.0 E-4pt"> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 1.0 E-4pt 0.0px">Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. </li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 1.0 E-4pt 0.0px">A minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales support or finance position which includes 3 or more years of data analysis experience. </li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 1.0 E-4pt 0.0px">Experience in data management and reporting, preferably in the Medical Device industry. </li> </ul> Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities <ul style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:1.0 E-4pt"> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.25in 1.0 E-4pt 0.0px">Excellent analytical, critical thinking and organizational skills required. </li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.25in 1.0 E-4pt 0.0px">Ability to synthesize various, independently generated, data points into a cohesive analysis. </li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.25in 1.0 E-4pt 0.0px">Attention to detail and accuracy/integrity of data required.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.25in 1.0 E-4pt 0.0px">Strong verbal and written communications skills required. </li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.25in 1.0 E-4pt 0.0px">Demonstrate strong leadership capabilities.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.25in 1.0 E-4pt 0.0px">Demonstrate the ability to lead cross functional teams while handling multiple projects.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.25in 1.0 E-4pt 0.0px">Ability to multi-task and manage shifting priorities. </li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.25in 1.0 E-4pt 0.0px">Experience with sales-related software applications (SAP, Cognos, Salesforce, Power BI)</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.25in 1.0 E-4pt 0.0px">Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Access and VBA. Intermediate skills in Word, Outlook.</li> </ul> The salary for this position is a minimum of $90k and a maximum of $100k per year, depending on experience and location, with 10% bonus target.
