<p>The Senior Logistics Specialist plays a critical role in managing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations. This position is responsible for coordinating transportation, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with logistics software, and a proven track record of improving operational efficiency.</p> <hr> <h3><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></h3> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and company policies.</li> <li>Optimize transportation routes and carrier selection to reduce costs and improve delivery performance.</li> <li>Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure product availability.</li> <li>Analyze logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.</li> <li>Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), freight forwarders, and carriers.</li> <li>Ensure accurate documentation for shipments, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork.</li> <li>Lead or support logistics-related projects, including system implementations and process improvements.</li> <li>Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.</li> <li>Provide mentorship and guidance to junior logistics staff.</li> </ul> <hr> <h3><strong>Qualifications:</strong></h3> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.</li> <li>5+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations and Incoterms.</li> <li>Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, TMS, WMS).</li> <li>Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Strong communication and negotiation abilities.</li> <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.</li> </ul>
